Reshell Ray celebrates 30 years serving students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

[00:00:07.540]My job is working in the Student Involvement Office
[00:00:10.350]and working with students on East Campus
[00:00:13.660]to provide programs and services
[00:00:15.470]for our student organizations.
[00:00:17.410]I love working with students, I love planning events,
[00:00:20.710]and seeing them succeed, build relationships,
[00:00:23.420]develop skills that will go way beyond
[00:00:26.720]their time at the university.
[00:00:28.480]The Culture Center that was located on R Street,
[00:00:32.920]I actually was a student here
[00:00:34.560]when the university purchased that facility
[00:00:37.150]and was also able to manage that facility for 10 years.
[00:00:42.020]And so now it's gone,
[00:00:43.680]and that glass is actually a stained glass
[00:00:47.160]that was taken from the window
[00:00:48.750]that the staff saved and gave to me, so, it means a lot.
[00:00:53.710]A student came to me with a vision
[00:00:55.840]of bringing Larry the Cable Guy to campus
[00:00:58.420]for a benefit for the Team Jack Foundation
[00:01:02.190]and we made that event happen, and over $200,000 was raised,
[00:01:07.820]so that was probably one of the most
[00:01:09.770]notable significant accomplishments I think that I've had.
[00:01:14.264]Wouldn't trade my 30 years of service
[00:01:17.040]to be anywhere else in the country.
[00:01:19.760]There's a lot of hope,
[00:01:20.750]there's a lot spirit here on campus it feels,
[00:01:24.540]and so, I think that it's a great place to be.
