- [00:00:25.600]and when the heart is healthy and thriving,

- [00:00:41.870]people who start businesses
- [00:00:43.300]have a vision for the world or a vision for their community
- [00:00:46.360]and are driven to make that change through a business.

- [00:00:50.910]on how they wanna impact the people who work there
- [00:00:52.928]and the people they come into contact with.
- [00:01:18.450]At its core, it's treating people like human beings,

- [00:01:28.750]but that their whole life is not work.

- [00:01:36.040]I mean, that's where we've seen the most business growth
- [00:01:38.590]is in small business and entrepreneurships.
- [00:01:41.730]It's so hard to attract big industry
- [00:01:44.310]or Fortune 500 companies to rural Nebraska,
- [00:01:47.380]but we can create those next
- [00:01:50.020]big names right here in our own hometowns.
- [00:02:09.250]I take pride in helping these two businesses
- [00:02:11.540]start in this community
- [00:02:12.610]because I know that it has a lasting impact
- [00:02:15.000]that will surpass my presence here.
- [00:02:17.210]Having my own store means the world to me.

- [00:02:21.113]that I am independent from anybody else.

- [00:02:31.950]so it's not just to come to one store.
- [00:02:34.590]It's to come to the whole downtown and make it a experience,

- [00:02:45.050]that are rooted here and help them grow

- [00:02:50.430]that will last and employ people for years to come.

- [00:02:55.490]is going to need a really big sense of purpose

- [00:03:02.466]interns here was a real stepping stone
- [00:03:05.020]that propelled this forward in this business
- [00:03:07.350]and helped us figure out what it meant to us
- [00:03:09.560]to be a force for good in the world.
- [00:03:11.520]Hearing about these two people's dreams
- [00:03:13.410]and helping them make it a reality
- [00:03:15.160]is something that I'm never going to forget.
- [00:03:17.040]If we lose these visionaries in rural communities,
- [00:03:20.210]we essentially lose rural communities
- [00:03:22.390]because the most essential ingredient
- [00:03:24.760]to a rural community is hope,
- [00:03:26.450]and these visionaries are constantly creating hope.
