[00:00:29.970]I really was able to gain a better understanding
[00:00:32.310]of what leadership meant and that really set me up
[00:00:35.080]for my job really well here at Civic Nebraska.
[00:00:38.257]Our final project is actually to interview a scientist
[00:00:41.471]and share her story and what she does for agriculture.
[00:00:45.567]I've had a couple courses that have been
[00:00:47.670]service-learning based where we've been
[00:00:49.310]in the community conducting service projects.

[00:01:44.950]Joining extracurricular activities and different clubs
[00:01:48.300]on campus has helped me meet lots of new people.

[00:01:57.600]that we can all come together as one big group is amazing.

[00:02:09.520]right now that are in Ag Ed and just being able
[00:02:12.140]to network with them throughout the rest of my career
[00:02:14.630]would just be awesome.

[00:02:19.680]having staff that can mentor you.

[00:02:31.672]have really helped me feel confident in myself.

[00:02:38.030]it's really fun to see how ALEC prepares students
[00:02:41.210]to go into the state and to serve that.

[00:02:45.000]about how we can choose to give back.
[00:02:47.650]I can get those kind of experiences and internships
[00:02:49.411]and I can get those recommendation letters
[00:02:51.469]and the stuff that I need to really excel
[00:02:54.329]in this program and excel past beyond college.
