[00:00:10.502]from the University of Nebraska, College of Architecture.
[00:00:13.390]Our MS is a research and scholarly-based program,
[00:00:17.440]preparing students for careers
[00:00:19.155]in the interior design industry, or in academia.
[00:00:23.452]Our flexible program is offered completely online,
[00:00:27.173]completely on campus, or through a combination of both.
[00:00:31.601]We know each student's circumstances are different,
[00:00:34.622]so we allow you to complete your degree
[00:00:36.701]at a pace that matches your life's goals.
[00:00:40.248]On average, it takes three years for students to complete
[00:00:43.491]the program when taking six credit hours a semester
[00:00:46.274]plus summer classes.
[00:00:47.938]But it can be accomplished in as little as two years
[00:00:50.591]depending on your scheduled.
[00:00:53.728]Our online courses are taught by leading experts
[00:00:56.319]in interior design from across the country,
[00:00:58.641]who share their expertise in a range of current topics.
[00:01:02.013]Our advisors will help you choose a research project
[00:01:04.545]that is geared toward your interest and individual goals.
[00:01:08.472]Our curriculum focuses on exploring
[00:01:10.299]evidence based design research.
[00:01:12.719]This will ultimately help you develop
[00:01:14.551]an area of expertise to elevate your effectiveness
[00:01:17.302]as a designer, and potentially project you into
[00:01:22.079]Here are examples of some of the areas our students
[00:01:24.655]have focused on, but the possibilities are really endless.
[00:01:28.883]Plus, this is not a journey that you go through alone.
[00:01:32.648]Nebraska's award winning faculty are here to guide you
[00:01:36.340]and help you forge partnerships with amazing local firms.
[00:01:40.982]And you'll connect with alumni all over the world.

[00:01:47.100]creating new areas for professional growth and opportunity.
[00:01:51.129]This degree has given so many of our graduates
[00:01:54.098]that competitive edge.
[00:01:55.880]Here's alumna Erin Trofholz.
[00:01:58.592]And because of that graduate studies,
[00:02:01.541]it was during 2008 that I was looking for a job,
[00:02:05.570]and I think that really set me apart
[00:02:07.217]from other candidates looking for a job
[00:02:08.859]because I had that additional research.
[00:02:11.967]As you can see, our graduates are
[00:02:13.916]some of our biggest fans,
[00:02:15.580]because they've gone on to find great jobs.
[00:02:18.443]Our graduates are all over the globe.
[00:02:20.633]When you come here, you really can go anywhere.
