- [00:00:04.931]I'm Creative Director at BVH Architecture,
- [00:00:07.309]and I'm a UNL adjunct faculty member.

- [00:00:14.829]And my real-world experience provides
- [00:00:17.520]them a certain perspective and a certain
- [00:00:19.739]idea of what they will be practicing in the future.

- [00:00:25.789]The biggest advantage, really,
- [00:00:27.229]is exposure to talented students.
- [00:00:31.389]And being able to invite them to come work with us
- [00:00:35.691]during summer internships or during the school year.
- [00:00:39.245]I took Mark as a studio professor, so I was able
- [00:00:41.915]to get to know Mark over the course of a semester.
- [00:00:44.666]At the end of the semester, Mark contacted me
- [00:00:46.986]letting me know that he'd like to set up
- [00:00:48.797]an interview with me and BVH.

- [00:00:54.018]has been incredibly valuable to me, personally,
- [00:00:56.236]because I was able to develop real world connections,
- [00:00:58.755]as well as just being able to get a perspective
- [00:01:01.106]into the actual professional side of architecture.
- [00:01:03.675]They come in and they jump right in,
- [00:01:05.538]and they're a part of our culture.
- [00:01:07.578]I've been on about three different projects
- [00:01:10.418]as well as doing smaller tasks, here in the studio.

- [00:01:14.675]to branch out and do other designing.
- [00:01:16.996]So, this will adhere to that wall.

- [00:01:32.546]I had a repeat student from third-year to fourth-year,
- [00:01:37.926]and I saw that student, through the studios,
- [00:01:42.477]progress and grow in ways, and being able to develop,
- [00:01:47.490]not only as an architecture student, but just as a person.
