[00:00:10.987]All you have to do is contact your teaching assistant,

[00:00:15.534]All of them are more than willing to offer you help.
[00:00:18.440]That's something that I've had to learn

[00:00:22.667]and I would say that it has helped me so much
[00:00:25.940]in advancing my undergraduate career.

[00:00:31.558]The best part about UNL was the response I had
[00:00:34.542]to all my questions initially when I was applying.
[00:00:37.206]They were prompt, quick, and the other most important part
[00:00:41.366]for me for deciding was the faculty
[00:00:45.352]at the College of Engineering
[00:00:48.839]and the research that was actually happening
[00:00:50.068]in the Department of Civil Engineering.
[00:00:52.308]I knew that this was the place
[00:00:54.022]I would likely fit in.
[00:00:55.971]It would help motivate my career as well.
[00:00:59.412]I was fortunate enough to be actually accepted
[00:01:01.899]and I didn't hesitate in making the choice.

[00:01:07.299]University of Nebraska- Lincoln provides me
[00:01:10.089]a very high-quality educational experience.
[00:01:15.278]As I mentioned before, I am majoring
[00:01:17.886]in International Business so most of my courses were taken
[00:01:23.886]at the College of Business Administration, mostly marketing,
[00:01:28.070]and all these courses were just amazing and enjoyable.
[00:01:33.495]I learned so much stuff.

[00:01:37.590]My plan after returning to my home country, I'm going to
[00:01:43.736]work at the Yogyakarta State University as a faculty.
[00:01:48.388]I'm going to teach Statistic courses,
[00:01:51.484]I'm going to do this at the Statistic
[00:01:53.825]and I'm gonna do consulting and statistic
[00:01:58.512]and then I'm going to encourage international students
[00:02:03.770]to study abroad in America to pursue higher education,
[00:02:08.139]especially to come at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

[00:02:16.312]I love Lincoln because it's very safe.
[00:02:18.809]Your parents won't be concerned about you
[00:02:21.141]and it's a small town so you won't get distracted
[00:02:27.261]like big cities like going to California or Orlando,
[00:02:31.974]and living here, living cost here is not that expensive
[00:02:35.997]so you will be able to travel and discover the United States
[00:02:40.088]in your breaks.
[00:02:43.157]I would recommend anyone to come to UNL.
[00:02:46.381]My advice here is network, discover America.

[00:02:53.722]My advice to incoming international students
[00:02:56.072]is to seize the opportunities that are offered here at UNL.
[00:02:59.700]At this state of the art campus,
[00:03:02.374]there are various activities that are offered to students
[00:03:05.375]that will help them develop themselves and give them tools
[00:03:09.354]that will help them after graduation.
[00:03:12.074]For example, there are different research programs
[00:03:15.057]that are offered at this university.
[00:03:18.536]Also, there are different study abroad programs
[00:03:21.137]that would help them connect with other cultures
[00:03:24.096]and experience them first-hand.

[00:03:30.477]So where I'm going after graduation,
[00:03:33.615]after getting my master's degree in
[00:03:36.213]educational administration,
[00:03:38.015]I am moving back to China and help to look for
[00:03:41.306]some opportunities working in the field of international
[00:03:44.527]higher education
[00:03:45.946]so in international and joint venturing universities
[00:03:48.779]in China and I will keep you updated about my news
[00:03:54.401]and if there's anything good to share I will definitely
[00:03:56.721]share with my friends, my colleagues, and my classmates
[00:04:00.576]here at UNL.
