[00:00:09.976]And kinda my message today is all about teamwork.
[00:00:13.603]Ever since the day I got on campus,
[00:00:15.218]he was the guy that I looked up to,
[00:00:17.237]not only as a football player, but as a person.
[00:00:20.585]Sam was awesome.
[00:00:21.963]He was one of the first kids that I met
[00:00:24.122]when I got on the campus.
[00:00:25.867]He was the guy that I always looked up to,
[00:00:27.717]that all of his teammates look up to.

[00:00:33.373]and the kid that was always wanting to make someone happy,

[00:01:19.573]Sam Foltz was a Franco's List recipient of fall 2015.
[00:01:23.902]And to honor his legacy,
[00:01:25.081]the Character Council has created the Sam Foltz Award,
[00:01:28.080]which will be awarded annually in the spring.
[00:01:30.896]A Franco's List recipient who embodies
[00:01:32.773]similar characteristics of Sam Foltz,
[00:01:35.395]such as courage, commitment, open-mindedness, and caring
[00:01:39.182]will be selected for this award each year.
[00:01:42.082]He really did make an impact
[00:01:43.587]on so many different people in the community,
[00:01:46.201]with his teammates, and I think that
[00:01:48.249]to have this award named after him
[00:01:50.137]is a really big honor.
