[00:00:03.945]MOBERLY: Today we're opening the Marvin and Virginia Schmid Clinic Building.
[00:00:06.809]MEYER: Now we have this beautiful waiting area.
[00:00:09.111]MOBERLY: It will house our civil clinic, our criminal clinic,
[00:00:11.491]our immigration clinic and our entrepreneurship clinic.
[00:00:15.091]MEYER: So this starts our series of kind of interview rooms.
[00:00:17.645]And this is where we've been having all of our client meetings.
[00:00:20.652]MOBERLY: Clinical education's really important to us.
[00:00:22.858]It allows for our students to take what they're learning
[00:00:25.400]in the classroom and apply it to real cases with real clients.
[00:00:29.696]And so it needed a space that deserved the important work that we were doing.
[00:00:34.363]MEYER: Right here we have our courtroom.
[00:00:37.068]MOBERLY: This is a 16,000 square foot addition that was entirely privately funded.
[00:00:41.863]And so we have alumni and friends and family of alumni
[00:00:45.753]who all came together to support this cause.
[00:00:48.667]MEYER: So this is what we call our collaboration center.
[00:00:52.138]This is my favorite spot.
[00:00:53.694]This is where all of our cubes are.
[00:00:55.540]We each have our own area.
[00:00:57.095]We have our own set of files; it's amazing.
[00:01:02.759]This new space and the clinic for the students is gonna be a great opportunity for us
[00:01:06.918]to come together, collaborate as a team within our clinics
[00:01:10.482]and have really productive client meetings in this new beautiful space.
