The workshop was tailored to a community of both women and men and faculty, staff and students.

[00:00:17.391]Actually, for those of you who know barred owls,
[00:00:19.824]these were actually two barred owls that were in a tree

[00:00:54.823]I was actually working on a workshop for AWIS
[00:00:57.599]with stuff mentoring around.

[00:01:06.252]But hopefully when you mentor people,

[00:01:11.299]They mentor each other on bad behavior, not good behavior.
[00:01:15.805]But the point is, as we move into the mentoring facet
[00:01:19.802]that necessarily has to build upon
[00:01:24.850]the thinking, the introspection, the self-analysis.
[00:01:30.123]Mentoring is a combination of all of these kinds of things.
[00:01:33.993]Yeah, it's good for you, but these are also the elements
[00:01:37.354]that we may be mentoring people on
[00:01:40.181]as they are going through their lives and their careers.

[00:01:46.960]you get to talk to each other again just a little bit
[00:01:49.829]about what some of the positive and negative aspects
[00:01:53.826]of your previous mentoring has been.
