[00:00:06.811]called Put a Sock In It.
[00:00:08.051]The mission of this non profit
[00:00:09.749]is to collect mismatched socks
[00:00:11.120]and we wash them, sort them, pair them
[00:00:13.569]and distribute them to homeless shelters
[00:00:15.931]all across the country.
[00:00:17.421]Really what we're doing is fostering the idea
[00:00:19.700]that you can make a difference.
[00:00:21.133]It can be as simple as one single sock.
[00:00:23.318]And Nebraska's been able to help us
[00:00:24.782]give the resources that we need
[00:00:26.825]in order for us to actually excel in our idea
[00:00:30.366]and take on this leadership role
[00:00:32.683]that they actually expect these engineers to take on.
[00:00:35.454]We had nothing going for us.
[00:00:37.563]We were like, "Hey, here's an idea."
[00:00:38.803]And within a year on our team,
[00:00:40.949]now we're in 20% of the country
[00:00:43.068]and 15,000 socks this year is the plan.

[00:00:47.372]It's not necessarily you can build
[00:00:50.504]or you should build anything in the world.
[00:00:52.765]It's find something you're passionate about and jump on it.
