[00:00:02.798]Hi, I'm Ian. I'm from Saginaw, Michigan.
[00:00:05.184]I am a nutrition, exercise and health science major here at the University of Nebraska.
[00:00:09.719]When I was looking at programs, I was looking for places that were going to take me beyond
[00:00:13.556]where I ever thought I would end up.
[00:00:16.039]I wanted a place that could offer me the academic opportunities that I wanted to pursue
[00:00:20.614]and Nebraska had that in every aspect of the university.
[00:00:25.836]I came to Nebraska for the wrestling program to wrestle at 165 pounds. To wrestle at the collegiate level,
[00:00:31.481]you basically need work ethic; everything else is going to come along, the technique and refining your conditioning.
[00:00:37.361]If you're not willing to work hard, none of the rest of that is going to fall into place.
[00:00:41.630]All of our wrestlers are very high achieving academically. We win awards year after year for our academic success
[00:00:48.420]simply because of that work ethic.
[00:00:50.891]There's a great compliment system here between academics and athletics. I love nutrition and exercise 24/7
