After studying music and law at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Stephanie Lynch Taylor continues to perform her fiddle and through her entertainment law practice, helps other performers become successful.

[00:00:09.081]I get to play with some of the finest country
[00:00:11.044]artists and bluegrass musicians around

[00:00:15.001]At Nebraska, I studied music and followed
[00:00:17.071]that with a degree in law.
[00:00:19.031]For me, the entertainment law field combines
[00:00:21.072]everything I know.
[00:00:23.002]I really enjoy studying business law and
[00:00:24.098]of course music was always my passion.
[00:00:26.069]So the chance to get to advise people about
[00:00:29.014]the business of music, I just find it
[00:00:30.076]really thrilling and I love what I do
[00:00:33.033]almost every day.
[00:00:34.090]I think that anyone who wants to make music
[00:00:37.050]their life needs to learn how to be entrepreneurial.
[00:00:40.031]My advice for students is just never to stop
[00:00:44.007]thinking and dreaming because anything is
[00:00:46.074]possible and you get the foundation here
[00:00:49.044]at the University of Nebraska to go anywhere
[00:00:51.048]you want to go, to see anything you want to see.
