Misam Ali embraces almost every opportunity that comes her way. That has worked out well for her at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Business Administration, leading to a study trip to China, internships, and hopes of a career in international law.

[00:00:02.074]Hi. My name is Misam Ali and I major in
[00:00:04.077]finance at UNL.
[00:00:07.038]The biggest thing I love about the
[00:00:08.094]Univeristy of Nebraska-Lincoln is that even
[00:00:11.017]though it is a big university, you can
[00:00:12.081]find your place. I think I found my niche by involving myself
[00:00:15.018]in different organizations, using my professors as
[00:00:18.008]resources. Also, allowed myself to have
[00:00:20.085]internships and study abroad. I studied abroad in
[00:00:24.007]China and it was, honestly, the best experience
[00:00:26.049]and it's actually pushed me more towards getting
[00:00:28.066]a law degree in international law.
[00:00:30.096]I'm a legal intern with the University of Nebraska
[00:00:34.026]Foundation and I do everything from filing to
[00:00:37.057]month long projects. The education that I am
[00:00:39.098]receiving at the College of Business Administration
[00:00:42.014]has been absolutely phenomenal. I'm surrounded
[00:00:44.044]by a lot of eager students wanting to change the
[00:00:47.015]world and in many ways change the business
[00:00:48.091]world itself. My career goal is to work for the
[00:00:51.095]United Nations. Thank you to the College of
[00:00:54.012]Business Administration. I'm better prepared to
[00:00:55.075]meet my goals.
