- [00:00:00.000]All right. All right, we've got
- [00:00:06.110]it recording. So good morning
- [00:00:09.400]to the Money Monday for July.
- [00:00:12.640]Glad to see everyone here.
- [00:00:14.120]Today we are going to cover a
- [00:00:16.740]form that was recently put out
- [00:00:19.680]by Sponsored Programs for
- [00:00:22.120]Publications.
- [00:00:26.300]The impetus for this was we
- [00:00:28.280]recently completed an audit. UNL
- [00:00:30.960]completed an audit for National
- [00:00:33.240]Science Foundation grants.
- [00:00:35.080]And overall, the audit findings
- [00:00:37.250]were mostly positive. According
- [00:00:39.100]to Sponsored Programs, there's
- [00:00:41.050]very little findings.
- [00:00:42.320]But one of them that they
- [00:00:46.520]required of us was to change
- [00:00:50.770]some of the processes we've
- [00:00:53.350]been doing on publication.
- [00:00:56.300]So in the past, what has
- [00:00:58.930]happened is for publications,
- [00:01:03.730]faculty have maybe put
- [00:01:05.300]publications all on one grant
- [00:01:09.110]or maybe all on two grants.
- [00:01:10.500]While the publication itself
- [00:01:13.050]had listed several, like maybe
- [00:01:15.800]three or four grants.
- [00:01:17.920]And so one of the cardinal
- [00:01:20.410]rules for grants is that all
- [00:01:23.070]expenses are allocated.
- [00:01:26.300]So if we mention a grant on a
- [00:01:32.350]publication, that grant should
- [00:01:37.150]be charged, if at all possible.
- [00:01:39.080]So this is due to the auditor's
- [00:01:45.680]findings. It's not due to any
- [00:01:48.210]nefarious intentions by Sponsored
- [00:01:48.540]Programs to make our lives more
- [00:01:48.810]difficult.
- [00:01:49.080]So this is due to the auditor's
- [00:01:50.450]findings. It's not due to any
- [00:01:51.640]nefarious intentions by Sponsored
- [00:01:53.130]Programs to make our lives more
- [00:01:54.430]difficult.
- [00:01:55.140]So this is due to the auditor's
- [00:01:55.140]findings. It's not due to any
- [00:01:55.140]nefarious intentions by Sponsored
- [00:01:55.140]Programs to make our lives more
- [00:01:55.140]difficult.
- [00:01:55.180]So this is due to the auditor's
- [00:01:55.180]findings. It's not due to any
- [00:01:55.180]nefarious intentions by Sponsored
- [00:01:55.180]Programs to make our lives more
- [00:01:55.180]difficult.
- [00:01:55.220]So this is due to the auditor's
- [00:01:55.220]findings. It's not due to any
- [00:01:55.220]nefarious intentions by Sponsored
- [00:01:55.220]Programs to make our lives more
- [00:01:55.220]difficult.
- [00:01:55.260]So this is due to the auditor's
- [00:01:56.260]findings. It's not due to any
- [00:01:57.300]nefarious intentions by Sponsored
- [00:01:58.520]Programs to make our lives more
- [00:01:59.960]complicated or frustrating.
- [00:02:00.680]So we're following what the auditors
- [00:02:03.160]are telling us to do, basically.
- [00:02:05.620]So what I'm going to do is I'm
- [00:02:07.570]going to share the form.
- [00:02:09.580]It's out on the Sponsored
- [00:02:11.540]Programs website.
- [00:02:13.280]And I'll share the link in the
- [00:02:14.960]comments here just so everyone
- [00:02:16.800]knows exactly where it is here.
- [00:02:18.880]One second here.
- [00:02:25.260]Okay.
- [00:02:42.640]It is, right?
- [00:02:44.920]It is, right?
- [00:02:44.980]I just put the link in the chat.
- [00:02:55.260]And I'm going to share my
- [00:02:56.340]screen here, too, so you can
- [00:02:57.700]kind of see where it is.
- [00:02:58.900]So it's out on the Sponsored
- [00:03:04.880]Programs, this general website
- [00:03:12.170]for UNO forms.
- [00:03:15.880]This is a very useful site, by
- [00:03:17.890]the way, if you're ever looking
- [00:03:20.060]at any kind of forms that are
- [00:03:21.900]needed for grants, this might
- [00:03:23.920]be the place to look at.
- [00:03:25.260]But it's right here, this
- [00:03:26.630]publication allocation form.
- [00:03:28.480]And if you click on it, it'll
- [00:03:31.210]bring up this form.
- [00:03:33.320]So I pre-filled this one just
- [00:03:36.930]so you kind of see what an
- [00:03:39.930]example would look like.
- [00:03:43.520]So the main thing is for any
- [00:03:46.520]active projects, we need to
- [00:03:49.800]divide them out and charge them
- [00:03:53.360]out equally.
- [00:03:55.260]So in this example here, we
- [00:03:56.870]have three active projects.
- [00:03:58.700]If there is, and now this is
- [00:04:01.310]only for sponsored activities
- [00:04:04.370]or grants, in other words.
- [00:04:07.340]So if it's for like a non-sponsored
- [00:04:09.610]project, you don't need to
- [00:04:11.420]worry about this form at all.
- [00:04:13.580]It's only if there's
- [00:04:15.140]specifically grants that are
- [00:04:16.250]mentioned.
- [00:04:17.080]So it's pretty self-explanatory.
- [00:04:22.420]We have the publication title
- [00:04:24.520]here.
- [00:04:25.260]We have the PI's name, and then
- [00:04:27.740]you're just anticipated cost.
- [00:04:29.560]And it can just be your best
- [00:04:31.760]guess of what the publication
- [00:04:34.290]costs will be.
- [00:04:35.800]So then we split out the costs
- [00:04:38.270]by, or we split out the, by the
- [00:04:41.260]number of projects mentioned in
- [00:04:43.860]the publication.
- [00:04:45.560]And this would only be active
- [00:04:47.710]projects.
- [00:04:48.020]So if it's not active, or if it's
- [00:04:49.940]not a grant, then we don't need
- [00:04:51.810]to list it here.
- [00:04:53.040]So.
- [00:04:55.260]So here we've, we've got an NIH
- [00:04:56.930]grant, an NSF grant, and a
- [00:04:58.640]Department of Education grant.
- [00:05:00.940]And so, and then the end date.
- [00:05:03.580]So each of these are still
- [00:05:04.970]active.
- [00:05:05.620]If it wasn't active, we wouldn't
- [00:05:07.630]need to include it.
- [00:05:09.060]And then the allocation.
- [00:05:13.800]Now notice it all has to be
- [00:05:15.820]split equally.
- [00:05:17.340]It can't be like, you know, 90%
- [00:05:20.940]on one and then 5% on the other
- [00:05:23.970]two.
- [00:05:25.260]So it has to be split equally,
- [00:05:27.900]which kind of raises some
- [00:05:29.990]questions as far as like, well,
- [00:05:32.240]it's only just briefly
- [00:05:33.060]mentioned, you know, in the
- [00:05:34.480]publication.
- [00:05:35.140]And then, but then there, there's
- [00:05:38.270]one, one major projects that's,
- [00:05:41.120]that's mentioned in the
- [00:05:43.330]publication.
- [00:05:44.700]Shouldn't it be charged on, on
- [00:05:46.530]just that one project?
- [00:05:47.940]Well, this is just what the auditors
- [00:05:50.710]told us to do.
- [00:05:51.900]So it has to be split equally.
- [00:05:54.380]No, not.
- [00:05:55.260]Regardless of, of the
- [00:05:56.680]proportionality.
- [00:05:58.040]It has to be a hundred percent.
- [00:06:00.760]So then all we do is we list
- [00:06:02.770]the WBS and cost numbers down
- [00:06:05.270]below, and you can see the, the
- [00:06:07.710]cost, the WBS numbers, and then
- [00:06:10.610]split out equally by costs here.
- [00:06:14.880]Now you'll notice here, this
- [00:06:16.980]isn't a WBS.
- [00:06:18.080]This is not the same account
- [00:06:19.110]number.
- [00:06:19.560]I put that just as kind of a
- [00:06:21.480]example that you do, you don't
- [00:06:23.420]have to put.
- [00:06:25.260]Uh, it on a grant.
- [00:06:27.240]So like, let's say a grant
- [00:06:28.690]might, uh, not allow
- [00:06:29.970]publication costs for whatever
- [00:06:31.860]reason.
- [00:06:32.580]So let's say this department of
- [00:06:33.770]ed doesn't allow it.
- [00:06:34.680]We can put it on, we still have
- [00:06:36.580]to pay for it, but, uh, we can
- [00:06:38.550]put it on a non sponsored pro
- [00:06:40.370]project account number.
- [00:06:42.120]So it can be a department, it
- [00:06:43.920]can be FMA, uh, an internal
- [00:06:45.720]cost object, anything besides
- [00:06:47.890]the grant, uh, uh, another
- [00:06:49.640]grant.
- [00:06:50.380]We can't put it on a separate
- [00:06:51.810]grant.
- [00:06:52.360]Um,
- [00:06:55.260]So, yeah, so, and then it just
- [00:06:58.460]has to equal the $10,000 up
- [00:07:02.660]above.
- [00:07:03.780]So it's not really too
- [00:07:06.200]complicated.
- [00:07:07.780]And then what we do is we just,
- [00:07:10.210]uh, uh, when you send in the,
- [00:07:12.690]the invoices for the
- [00:07:14.350]publication expenses, we just
- [00:07:16.980]include this, uh, sheet, uh,
- [00:07:19.970]with those, uh, invoices.
- [00:07:22.560]If there are any questions.
- [00:07:25.320]About this, uh, you know, don't
- [00:07:27.170]hesitate to reach out to your
- [00:07:28.800]grant specialist.
- [00:07:30.100]You can reach out to me and I'll
- [00:07:31.620]be glad to assist with, with,
- [00:07:33.160]with this.
- [00:07:33.840]But, uh, other than that, uh,
- [00:07:36.040]that's kind of it for the, uh,
- [00:07:38.090]presentation itself.
- [00:07:39.840]Is there any questions or any,
- [00:07:41.760]anything that we want to
- [00:07:43.130]discuss about this?
- [00:07:44.560]I have a question.
- [00:07:47.940]Yes.
- [00:07:48.960]So it says here that it's
- [00:07:50.290]supposed to be included with
- [00:07:51.920]the documents.
- [00:07:53.040]I get a lot of P card paperwork
- [00:07:54.730]for.
- [00:07:55.260]Publication fees.
- [00:07:56.580]So this means this form needs
- [00:07:58.630]to be attached with a
- [00:08:00.080]documentation.
- [00:08:01.320]Yeah.
- [00:08:01.920]Documentation for P card.
- [00:08:04.440]P card documents or invoices.
- [00:08:07.620]Okay.
- [00:08:08.160]So if it's a P card charge and
- [00:08:10.160]it says publication fee, and
- [00:08:12.350]this form is not included, it's
- [00:08:14.700]to be returned to the person
- [00:08:16.710]and added.
- [00:08:17.640]Exactly.
- [00:08:19.020]Okay.
- [00:08:19.720]Thank you.
- [00:08:25.260]Yes, I think you're muted for
- [00:08:31.250]Kathy.
- [00:08:33.280]Hi, first of all, you
- [00:08:34.910]personally work with Dr.
- [00:08:36.500]James T.
- [00:08:37.020]Kirk.
- [00:08:37.480]Uh, I wish I loved your sample
- [00:08:41.480]clever, but my question is, um,
- [00:08:44.140]so you said though, even if it's
- [00:08:46.760]mentioned in it, so what do you,
- [00:08:49.060]could you clarify that?
- [00:08:50.080]Because, well, I mean, we're
- [00:08:52.830]going to be relying a lot on
- [00:08:54.470]the, on the.
- [00:08:55.260]Faculty here.
- [00:08:56.100]I mean, I'm not going to read
- [00:08:58.120]their publication to, to, uh,
- [00:09:00.650]make sure each like to see what
- [00:09:02.850]grants are listed.
- [00:09:04.220]If, if, if they say that the
- [00:09:05.900]grant is listed on the, in, in
- [00:09:07.720]the, uh, publication, we're
- [00:09:09.620]just going to trust them.
- [00:09:11.340]So it's, it's just a matter of,
- [00:09:13.390]we're just going to go on their
- [00:09:15.310]word and their honor that, that
- [00:09:17.400]the grants, uh, listed in the
- [00:09:19.640]publication are, uh, are
- [00:09:23.620]included.
- [00:09:25.260]So, um, so we're going to have
- [00:09:25.520]to, we're going to have to, we're
- [00:09:25.810]going to have to, we're going
- [00:09:26.060]to have to, we're going to have
- [00:09:26.320]to, we're going to have to, we're
- [00:09:26.610]going to have to, we're going
- [00:09:26.860]to have to, we're going to have
- [00:09:27.120]to, we're going to have to, we're
- [00:09:27.410]going to have to, we're going
- [00:09:27.660]to have to, we're going to have
- [00:09:27.920]to, we're going to have to.
- [00:09:28.580]Okay.
- [00:09:28.800]Thank you.
- [00:09:29.400]Jonathan, this is Natalie.
- [00:09:34.900]I have a question for you.
- [00:09:36.260]Uh, some of the grant projects
- [00:09:38.860]that I work with don't allow
- [00:09:41.180]research necessarily, but we
- [00:09:43.810]work with grad students who,
- [00:09:46.390]you know, might have multiple
- [00:09:48.890]funding sources to, to help us
- [00:09:51.540]with that.
- [00:09:52.680]Or we can contract for research.
- [00:09:54.560]That sort of thing.
- [00:09:55.260]Um, if they publish articles,
- [00:09:59.420]can we build that to our grants?
- [00:10:05.120]And if you need to work on that,
- [00:10:07.980]I understand.
- [00:10:09.540]I just am throwing it out there
- [00:10:11.910]because I, I know we've, um,
- [00:10:14.390]done that in the past.
- [00:10:16.420]And so I just want to keep that
- [00:10:17.620]in mind as we go forward.
- [00:10:18.760]Sure.
- [00:10:19.440]Sure.
- [00:10:19.760]That's a great question.
- [00:10:20.640]Boy, I would say, I mean, if
- [00:10:22.940]the grant doesn't allow.
- [00:10:25.260]Research to me, that seems like
- [00:10:27.690]it probably wouldn't allow the
- [00:10:29.770]publication on it, but, uh, I
- [00:10:32.060]don't know.
- [00:10:33.180]If that might be something that
- [00:10:35.120]you could, uh, check with the
- [00:10:37.030]sponsor about, or, or we just
- [00:10:38.970]might need to dig into a little
- [00:10:40.810]bit more and get the, the, uh,
- [00:10:42.780]the, uh, story around it a
- [00:10:44.550]little bit more.
- [00:10:45.880]Okay.
- [00:10:48.020]Thank you.
- [00:10:48.800]Yeah.
- [00:10:55.260]Any other questions?
- [00:11:08.040]Jonathan, I have a question.
- [00:11:13.700]Put it in the chat.
- [00:11:15.240]Sure.
- [00:11:16.100]Oh, yeah.
- [00:11:17.120]I can, I can say it out loud.
- [00:11:19.520]Like, for example, if you're
- [00:11:21.760]acknowledging end part, how do
- [00:11:24.090]we.
- [00:11:25.260]How do we ask them to pay our,
- [00:11:27.300]uh, our, what is the suggested
- [00:11:31.110]way to go?
- [00:11:32.580]Oh, okay.
- [00:11:33.880]I see.
- [00:11:34.200]If you don't have an active
- [00:11:36.230]project, but then part might
- [00:11:37.190]want us to acknowledge their
- [00:11:39.820]grant number.
- [00:11:40.640]Yeah.
- [00:11:42.180]Their project may be active or
- [00:11:45.980]the same.
- [00:11:46.260]Yeah.
- [00:11:48.220]If they're, if you're
- [00:11:50.250]acknowledging it on input now,
- [00:11:52.240]so let's see.
- [00:11:54.240]And by itself, uh, unless it's
- [00:11:56.880]part of the, their, their Cobra
- [00:11:59.510]grant, it wouldn't be
- [00:12:00.840]necessarily an active, an
- [00:12:02.880]active, uh, project.
- [00:12:04.320]So you wouldn't necessarily
- [00:12:06.430]need to, uh, uh, charge it to,
- [00:12:08.840]to, to the end pod, unless it
- [00:12:10.560]was for like the, the overall
- [00:12:12.590]part of the overall Cobra grant.
- [00:12:13.960]If it was, then you would
- [00:12:15.220]charge it to that grant.
- [00:12:16.580]Yeah.
- [00:12:17.780]But if it's just that center
- [00:12:19.240]itself, you wouldn't
- [00:12:20.570]necessarily charge it to a
- [00:12:21.840]grant.
- [00:12:22.220]Yeah.
- [00:12:22.680]Or Satish, if you're, if you'd
- [00:12:23.990]be.
- [00:12:24.180]Uh, citing something from, uh,
- [00:12:25.940]you know, like your project
- [00:12:27.390]leader project, you know, quite
- [00:12:29.330]a while ago, that project is no
- [00:12:31.220]longer active.
- [00:12:32.040]So there's nothing to charge.
- [00:12:33.240]You don't have to worry about
- [00:12:34.140]it.
- [00:12:34.260]Yeah, that's true.
- [00:12:35.460]Uh, that's right.
- [00:12:36.420]If that's a good point, Spencer.
- [00:12:37.560]Yeah.
- [00:12:37.800]If it's, if it's no longer
- [00:12:39.450]active, then, uh, you're, you're
- [00:12:41.830]clear of any, any obligation to
- [00:12:43.890]acknowledge it in the, the, uh,
- [00:12:46.200]funding.
- [00:12:46.680]So thank you.
- [00:12:49.080]How do we know that somebody is
- [00:12:51.660]mentioning and Porter puts it
- [00:12:53.910]on?
- [00:12:54.120]This sheet, it will be charged
- [00:12:56.440]to our input grant.
- [00:12:58.140]How do we know that us?
- [00:13:01.080]Dr.
- [00:13:01.880]Templini, because we don't have
- [00:13:03.700]it in the budget.
- [00:13:04.800]Right.
- [00:13:05.220]Yeah.
- [00:13:06.340]Right.
- [00:13:07.480]They wouldn't be able to charge
- [00:13:08.910]the, your admin core or your
- [00:13:10.220]grant.
- [00:13:10.720]The only time someone could
- [00:13:12.220]charge in pod funding would be
- [00:13:13.900]if they have a pilot project or
- [00:13:15.490]some other active grant that is
- [00:13:17.180]separate from just like the
- [00:13:18.420]normal admin and research core.
- [00:13:20.100]Um, that'd be have to something
- [00:13:21.810]that they were the PI of, like
- [00:13:23.380]we had the.
- [00:13:24.000]Project, the research projects
- [00:13:25.860]and now coming up for phase
- [00:13:27.320]three, it would only be pilot
- [00:13:28.970]project leaders and they would
- [00:13:30.700]have to put it in their own
- [00:13:32.100]budget and charge their funds,
- [00:13:33.890]not your overall admin funds.
- [00:13:35.880]Hmm.
- [00:13:36.720]Okay.
- [00:13:37.460]Sounds good.
- [00:13:38.340]I want to add, I think it's,
- [00:13:40.570]this is going to restrict and
- [00:13:42.600]pod getting citation because if
- [00:13:44.950]they want to include after
- [00:13:46.730]there, sorry, in such on the
- [00:13:48.850]camera, if they want to include
- [00:13:51.360]after their project period
- [00:13:53.290]ended.
- [00:13:53.940]Then, like Jonathan suggested,
- [00:13:57.130]we may have to secure a
- [00:13:59.580]different funding to compensate.
- [00:14:02.600]For Verona, I think this is a
- [00:14:04.910]good discussion for you with Zemplany,
- [00:14:08.210]whether if we cite,
- [00:14:09.820]is there any cost that can be
- [00:14:11.660]shared? You don't have to
- [00:14:13.110]answer now. You can talk to
- [00:14:14.420]Dr. Zemplany.
- [00:14:15.420]The thing is, Satish, a couple
- [00:14:16.990]of things. When this came out,
- [00:14:20.790]all three COBRE centers
- [00:14:23.400]from UNL wrote a long email to
- [00:14:26.030]ORET with several questions
- [00:14:28.370]concerning all these things,
- [00:14:31.300]and
- [00:14:31.480]we haven't heard back. Not a
- [00:14:33.300]single word. You know, what we
- [00:14:36.310]should do, because we all
- [00:14:38.560]more or less want everybody to
- [00:14:44.570]cite our center in the
- [00:14:49.300]acknowledgement. So, stay open.
- [00:14:52.860]I know the general question,
- [00:15:01.780]Jonathan, is college, we know
- [00:15:05.710]our college encourages
- [00:15:07.900]publications
- [00:15:08.640]and support. Is there any
- [00:15:10.930]mechanism in the college that
- [00:15:13.130]we have to help support some
- [00:15:15.240]of the costs that might incur
- [00:15:17.400]with publication? You know, all
- [00:15:19.970]the people with grants can be
- [00:15:21.900]able to afford that. Let's say,
- [00:15:24.760]if I don't have a grant at all,
- [00:15:27.060]and all my grants are
- [00:15:28.380]expired or completed, I still
- [00:15:30.760]have publications to do. Just
- [00:15:33.560]putting a hypothetical
- [00:15:35.090]situation,
- [00:15:36.080]and it could happen, right? And
- [00:15:37.940]how do we go with this process?
- [00:15:42.400]Because we usually,
- [00:15:44.620]I did have into the situation,
- [00:15:46.550]like, I completely run out of
- [00:15:48.460]the project, and I called my
- [00:15:50.190]colleague
- [00:15:50.940]and said, hey, pay for this. I
- [00:15:53.060]have no money. Or department,
- [00:15:55.190]pay for this. I have no money.
- [00:15:57.420]This is going to create
- [00:15:59.430]problems to get friends who are
- [00:16:02.170]helping each other or
- [00:16:03.660]colleagues helping
- [00:16:04.500]each other. Right. Yeah. I
- [00:16:06.960]think that illustrates the need
- [00:16:08.980]for professional development
- [00:16:11.920]funds or
- [00:16:12.780]some sort of, I guess, fund for
- [00:16:15.760]publications, maybe, in the
- [00:16:17.860]department or something like
- [00:16:20.340]that,
- [00:16:20.400]for cases like this, where
- [00:16:23.750]maybe a grant is not allowed to
- [00:16:27.460]fund a project. Now, the
- [00:16:31.120]situation,
- [00:16:31.620]like, if a grant is expired,
- [00:16:33.360]let's say there's two grants
- [00:16:35.050]mentioned on the grant, on the
- [00:16:37.870]publication,
- [00:16:38.460]but one is done and is expired,
- [00:16:40.200]but the other is still active,
- [00:16:42.420]then you could just put in 100%
- [00:16:45.060]on just the active grant,
- [00:16:46.900]because we're only concerned
- [00:16:48.490]about active grants.
- [00:16:50.400]Okay. So, that might help the
- [00:16:54.670]situation as well.
- [00:16:55.740]Thank you, Jonathan. I think
- [00:16:58.120]that helps.
- [00:16:59.220]All right. Any other burning
- [00:17:14.750]questions that you want to find
- [00:17:18.660]out about
- [00:17:19.200]publications? All right. Any
- [00:17:20.100]other burning questions that
- [00:17:20.100]you want to find out about
- [00:17:20.100]publications?
- [00:17:20.180]All right. Any other burning
- [00:17:20.230]questions that you want to find
- [00:17:20.260]out about publications?
- [00:17:20.380]costs or maybe any other
- [00:17:22.060]aspects of grants. Otherwise,
- [00:17:26.610]we'll call it a day.
- [00:17:31.540]Kathy, it looks like you have
- [00:17:36.620]something. Yeah, just real
- [00:17:39.640]quick. And we'll call it a day.
- [00:17:41.640]But so looking at the math and
- [00:17:43.560]all that, do all your invoices,
- [00:17:45.800]I mean, could they be slightly
- [00:17:47.920]$9,998.32 under? If it goes
- [00:17:50.900]over, you're just fine. You
- [00:17:52.890]just have to find a way to eat
- [00:17:54.890]the rest
- [00:17:55.200]of it. I mean, does the math
- [00:17:58.050]have to be exact? Yeah, that's
- [00:18:01.400]a good question. So yes, it
- [00:18:04.280]does
- [00:18:04.640]have to be exact. So we would
- [00:18:06.750]have to find if it was for $9,980,
- [00:18:09.870]we'd have to find.
- [00:18:11.140]And if I'm understanding your
- [00:18:13.650]question correctly, let's say
- [00:18:16.090]that you're asking,
- [00:18:17.920]if the grant can't afford the
- [00:18:19.770]full whatever, the $10,000, it
- [00:18:22.790]can only afford $9,980. We'd
- [00:18:25.960]still
- [00:18:26.360]have to find, you know, $20 or
- [00:18:28.660]$200 or whatever for that last
- [00:18:31.100]remaining debt from a non-grant
- [00:18:33.320]source. So maybe startup funds
- [00:18:35.290]or maybe the department or F&A
- [00:18:37.050]would have to cover that.
- [00:18:38.760]And submit all that paperwork,
- [00:18:40.550]just everything, you know,
- [00:18:42.250]cross your T's. Okay.
- [00:18:43.740]And then if you're over, then
- [00:18:47.470]you go back.
- [00:18:47.920]Back to what Satish was saying,
- [00:18:49.780]finding money from other places.
- [00:18:51.850]Okay.
- [00:18:52.380]Yeah. And then you might have
- [00:18:54.360]to get a little creative. I
- [00:18:56.170]mean, we'd work with you, but
- [00:18:58.260]yeah, the general intent is to
- [00:19:01.890]have all the active grants on
- [00:19:04.620]the form to equally pay for
- [00:19:07.520]the project. So. Thank you.
- [00:19:17.920]All right. Well, if nothing
- [00:19:20.610]else, we'll let you go a little
- [00:19:23.100]bit early and have a good, good
- [00:19:27.180]Monday.
- [00:19:27.500]Bye.
