[00:00:16.060]The wheat tours, I would say,
[00:00:17.930]on the whole, were slightly
[00:00:19.840]encouraging.
[00:00:20.760]Across the state, I think,
[00:00:22.680]really benefited from some of
[00:00:24.680]the May rains that we got.
[00:00:26.560]And I think it will save a lot
[00:00:29.170]of folks' crops.
[00:00:30.880]However, there were a couple
[00:00:33.040]areas, we had one field day
[00:00:35.020]where the field was getting hit
[00:00:37.700]really, really hard with wheat
[00:00:39.610]streak.
[00:00:40.560]And so that one is frustrating.

[00:00:45.620]be mindful of next year's
[00:00:47.010]possible challenges.

[00:00:57.550]wheat streak closely again next
[00:00:58.770]year.
[00:00:59.160]We saw a little bit of stripe
[00:01:01.160]rust starting, but this point
[00:01:03.610]in the growing season, it's too
[00:01:06.560]late.
[00:01:07.100]The stripe rust will have a
[00:01:08.840]minimal effect on final yield.
[00:01:10.920]And we're too close to harvest
[00:01:13.300]to spray fungicide.
[00:01:15.180]Easterly says the rains we had
[00:01:16.890]in May will likely push the
[00:01:18.340]wheat harvest back a bit, with
[00:01:20.280]many harvesting after the 4th
[00:01:21.760]of July.
