[00:00:15.580]Beautiful, sunny week out there.
[00:00:17.760]Hope you're finding some time
[00:00:19.530]to experience the great weather
[00:00:21.440]that we're seeing across most
[00:00:22.780]of the state,
[00:00:23.760]following a week of a lot of
[00:00:25.200]precipitation that was much
[00:00:27.140]needed across the state as well.
[00:00:28.920]So life is good in Nebraska at
[00:00:30.520]the moment.
[00:00:31.360]Today's huddle will focus on
[00:00:34.990]these topics, and we have two
[00:00:37.890]or three guest speakers that
[00:00:39.590]will be with us today
[00:00:40.320]talking about some of these
[00:00:41.800]agenda items as well.

[00:01:03.940]October 1.

[00:01:06.590]those files for next year are
[00:01:07.970]probably already starting on
[00:01:09.410]them.

[00:01:11.570]documentation of your body of
[00:01:13.460]work goes through a series of
[00:01:15.300]reviews
[00:01:15.880]from October through February
[00:01:19.290]or March.
[00:01:20.620]And then those promotions are
[00:01:22.380]announced in April at an in-person
[00:01:24.420]celebration on the Lincoln
[00:01:26.700]campus.
[00:01:27.840]And so today, we are just going
[00:01:30.160]to share with you some of our
[00:01:31.840]colleagues who were the
[00:01:35.390]recipient of these promotions.

[00:02:23.700]case, an extension professional.
[00:02:28.710]But for
[00:02:29.440]extension educators, we had a
[00:02:31.250]lot of promotions this year. So
[00:02:33.210]these are the individuals who
[00:02:34.980]were
[00:02:35.120]promoted from assistant to
[00:02:36.950]associate extension educator.
[00:02:39.250]So you can see across the state,
[00:02:41.520]across
[00:02:42.280]many program areas, we've had a
[00:02:44.620]lot of friends and colleagues
[00:02:46.790]who met that mark in the eyes
[00:02:48.790]of
[00:02:49.060]their professors. And so we've
[00:02:49.240]had a lot of promotions this
[00:02:49.240]year. So these are the
[00:02:49.240]individuals
[00:02:49.240]who were promoted from
[00:02:49.240]assistant to associate
[00:02:49.240]extension educator. So you can
[00:02:49.240]see across the
[00:02:49.240]state, across many program
[00:02:49.240]areas, we've had a lot of
[00:02:49.240]friends and colleagues who met
[00:02:49.240]that mark in the
[00:02:49.240]peers and administration
[00:02:51.600]regarding meeting their
[00:02:52.960]academic promotion milestone.
[00:02:55.770]And then to full
[00:02:57.880]extension educator, we have
[00:02:59.560]these individuals, again, a
[00:03:01.310]great group across all program
[00:03:03.070]areas.
[00:03:03.680]This is a group who's probably
[00:03:05.320]been with extension anywhere
[00:03:06.970]from 12, 13 years at this point
[00:03:09.180]in their
[00:03:09.400]career. And so they have now
[00:03:11.150]been promoted to the highest
[00:03:12.860]level of rank within the
[00:03:14.230]extension
[00:03:14.900]educator realm. And then we
[00:03:18.210]also had three
[00:03:19.220]extension assistants. So with
[00:03:21.470]Nebraska extension, extension
[00:03:22.940]assistants who have been in
[00:03:24.480]their respective
[00:03:25.180]roles for a minimum of five
[00:03:27.310]years are eligible for
[00:03:29.230]promotion as well. So
[00:03:30.180]congratulations to Rachel,
[00:03:31.380]Jade, and Elizabeth for their
[00:03:33.530]promotions from extension
[00:03:35.440]assistant to extension
[00:03:37.140]associates. So
[00:03:38.280]please, again, express your
[00:03:40.240]appreciation to those folks and
[00:03:42.280]the hard work and dedication
[00:03:44.140]that it requires to meet the
[00:03:46.670]mark of not only excellence,
[00:03:49.140]but also the
[00:03:49.200]experience of being an
