April Delsing shares how the Nebraska LEAD Program has inspired her to become more involved—both in her local community and through the Farm Bureau. With a renewed sense of purpose and the tools gained through LEAD, she’s ready to step up and make a difference where it matters most.

[00:00:15.000]able to... I've been able to be part of that and learn more about the agriculture industry.
[00:00:20.000]And some of those things are really important to me because it also helped me hone my leadership skills.
[00:00:24.000]Going forward, what I am working on, is staying active within my community.
[00:00:28.000]And so some of those things are the Hemingford Community Foundation as
[00:00:32.000]well as our Ministerial Association.
[00:00:34.000]So, the leadership skills that I've learned so far through LEAD is going to help me progress in that role.
[00:00:39.000]One of the things that I'm most interested in is getting involved with the Farm Bureau Association.
[00:00:44.000]So, not only in my local community, but also think about from an
[00:00:47.000]international and national affairs standpoint.
[00:00:49.000]And so with that, I just wanted to make sure that, you know, I'm going to be here
[00:00:52.000]as a leader and focus on rural development.
