[00:00:03.958]I was just kind of in this period of my life where I was very lost.
[00:00:08.333]For my sophomore year, I was undeclared.
[00:00:10.583]I would look at my peers and they just seem to have it all figured out.
[00:00:13.583]And I just kind of asked myself, why am I not there yet?
[00:00:17.875]I've utilized a lot of resources in my time here,

[00:00:22.583]It just kind of took me saying, okay, like enough is enough.
[00:00:25.625]I'm getting myself help. I'm going to go talk to somebody.
[00:00:28.208]And it got better. It really did.
[00:00:29.791]Just having somebody to talk to, like, made it better.
[00:00:32.333]They were super helpful and just learning what UNL has
[00:00:35.708]to offer in terms of majors and where those could take me.
[00:00:39.708]To come out of that and pick a major that I enjoy, which is sociology,
[00:00:43.583]it's kind of transformed
[00:00:44.750]from just taking classes that I'm interested in to full-scale
[00:00:49.416]this is something that I want to do with my life.
[00:00:52.583]All of these little segments of my life have just given me so much passion
[00:00:57.625]and have fulfilled me so much, and just energized me to want to do more.
