[00:00:06.541]Then they introduced me to Morgan and that was a super cool opportunity for me.
[00:00:10.291]And then I was with Liv from my sophomore to senior year,
[00:00:13.541]when she was in her sophomore to senior year in college.
[00:00:15.875]So that was really special.
[00:00:18.333]What a gift that it all gets to connect together
[00:00:21.125]and that we just happened to be really good friends as well.
[00:00:23.916]When we would meet, I sometimes I'd feel like you were my mentor.
[00:00:28.041]I was like, this girl is so insightful, I love this.
[00:00:31.708]I think that was really sweet and that we could grow up in that aspect.
[00:00:34.916]Morgan taught me, like, connect all the things together,
[00:00:37.291]like, that's the biggest thing.
[00:00:38.458]And then we got to do that with, like,
[00:00:40.333]we had our gratitude journals and connect it to school
[00:00:42.916]and our relationships and everything like that.
[00:00:44.958]I mean, NHRI does a great job of
[00:00:46.916]how do we ask open ended questions to people
[00:00:48.958]and how do we carry on these conversations and have relationships that foster
[00:00:52.791]that, as opposed to how do I make this all about me?
[00:00:54.958]You know, it's it's how do I, how do I say, “there you are” instead of “here I am” all the time, right?
[00:01:00.625]And I think that NHRI really did a great job of letting me know,
[00:01:04.625]okay, who am I, and what do I do and what can I bring to the table?
[00:01:07.416]And I think that's a big thing that like opened up my self-confidence as well.
[00:01:11.000]I've always been an outgoing kid.
[00:01:12.416]I feel like you guys knew that off the bat.
[00:01:13.958]I apologize, but you know, and I'm also a very anxiety ridden person.
[00:01:18.208]But you guys helped me kind of like, shed that side of me
[00:01:21.041]to always be the person to be like, hi, my name is Claire.
[00:01:24.875]Like, what is your name?
[00:01:25.833]Even when you talk about people who are in NHRI, 20 or 30 years ago,
[00:01:30.041]those concepts are still there and you can still say
[00:01:33.583]they were definitely in NHRI.
[00:01:34.916]And, and what a cool thing that they are now
[00:01:38.125]rippling that positive impact across the country and the globe
[00:01:41.625]inwhatever life they’re living now.
