[00:00:06.875]so I always had a lot of music in the household.
[00:00:10.083]And when I started college, I wrote in my essay, that the game plan
[00:00:14.833]was for me to be an opera singer for like 10 to 15 years
[00:00:18.833]and then when I got tired of traveling the world, then I would be
[00:00:22.000]a junior high band director by day and a jazz singer by night.
[00:00:28.166]I mean, like I'm really lucky in what I do and in that I'm not only working
[00:00:32.583]on kind of a physical instrument, I'm working on the big picture
[00:00:37.083]with people on a personal one-on-one level so many times.
[00:00:41.125]And so I do feel like we kind of feed off one another's energy.
[00:00:45.958]Sometimes a student will come in with ideas
[00:00:48.625]of what they want to be working on, which is always really exciting for me.
[00:00:52.500]And we try to kind of find a variety of things
[00:00:57.208]that hone different skills every semester.

[00:01:05.125]And so it's long nights where we are at school until almost midnight
