An On-Farm Research project dealing with dry edible beans and the product Pod Ceal is in its second year. Tim Hashman, a Box Butte County farmer, is involved with the project.

[00:00:46.540]We haven't had any weather events so far this year,
[00:00:50.160]and this was a good place to start.
[00:00:53.180]Hashman says in the second year they are hoping to see more results.
[00:00:56.300]Last year we saw there was a little bit of difference to the harvest loss.

[00:01:10.080]We had a little hailstorm come through before harvest.
[00:01:12.440]It actually helped retain the shatter and everything with the hailstorm.

[00:01:18.580]This year, I'm hoping that we do see a sizable reduction in harvest loss.
