[00:01:08.034]to the northern city of Rovaniemi.

[00:01:15.608]and visiting museums

[00:01:21.748]the Finnish tradition of ice swimming,
[00:01:23.883]where you go back and forth

[00:01:26.753]and then plunge into an icy cold pool.

[00:01:39.666]We'll be there at the wrong time of year

[00:02:10.029]at least two of them.

[00:02:18.438]they're also the number one

[00:02:24.344]We'll also take a ferry
[00:02:25.578]across the Gulf of Finland
[00:02:27.013]for a day trip to Tallinn, Estonia.

[00:02:29.916]we will visit an outdoor
[00:02:31.117]open air museum
[00:02:32.652]and the 13th century Old Town,
[00:02:35.121]which may make you feel like you're
[00:02:37.090]stepping back in time into a medieval
[00:02:39.826]fairy tale.

[00:02:42.562]to a UNESCO World Heritage Center,
[00:02:45.131]the first being
[00:02:46.199]Suomenlinna Island in Helsinki.
[00:02:48.268]Tallinn is known as the Silicon Valley
[00:02:50.270]of the Baltic for their innovation
[00:02:52.038]and entrepreneurship and the tech sector.
[00:02:54.274]You probably heard of Skype,
[00:02:55.375]which is co-founded by an Estonian.
[00:02:58.011]Another fun fact
[00:02:59.145]Tallinn was named
[00:03:00.046]the European Green Capital for 2023
[00:03:02.782]because of their biodiversity,
[00:03:04.284]sustainability focused governance
[00:03:06.219]and green innovation.
[00:03:07.820]Estonia also has one of the world's
[00:03:09.923]best education systems,
[00:03:11.658]ranking first among European countries.
[00:03:14.093]They emphasize student centered
[00:03:16.029]experiential learning,
[00:03:17.430]teacher autonomy and professionalism,
[00:03:19.499]and they center equity
[00:03:20.733]within their educational system.
