- [00:00:00.000]I think that there are formal health groups and professional health groups, and those
- [00:00:16.460]might be a grief and loss group, and there are many communities that have those.
- [00:00:21.280]But it could also be just a church group, it could be a group of neighbors, it could
- [00:00:25.320]be a group of farmers who get together in the morning for coffee, and we sit around
- [00:00:29.640]and we have coffee and we talk about stuff, and we talk to each other, and I trust these
- [00:00:33.780]guys, and I don't have to get emotional with things, I just have to say, man, this is terrible,
- [00:00:40.120]this is tough.
- [00:00:40.920]And they have to say, yeah, I agree, it's tough.
- [00:00:43.340]And there's a connection that happens.
- [00:00:45.500]And so, informal groups.
- [00:00:47.540]can be powerful support too. And we can talk to family and we can talk to friends and neighbors.
- [00:00:52.360]Formal groups, there's like the grief recovery groups and so forth. We can talk to therapists.
- [00:00:58.000]And one of the things the pandemic has done is it's expanded the accessibility of distance therapy,
- [00:01:05.060]and which is in a state like ours, critical. Yes. Because I have so many communities,
- [00:01:09.680]so many counties that don't have therapists. But today you can see a therapist in Lincoln
- [00:01:14.360]when you live in Arthur County, and it doesn't matter. Right. And they can provide great service
- [00:01:19.580]to you. And so distance isn't a limiter for people needing to access mental health services.
