A team of talented Huskers work behind and in front of the camera to produce "Home Again," UNL's 2024 national TV spot. Small town volleyball players take the stage, and their former coach shares her memories of Volleyball Day in Nebraska and its impact on her girls.

[00:00:28.620]thank you for coming for this we're really excited to be able to film at
[00:00:32.960]St. John. If you don't know me I'm Shepherd and Wilder's dad so we go to
[00:00:37.080]St. John as well and we're gonna shoot a couple close-ups with Reese and then
[00:00:41.100]we're gonna do a wide shot which will involve kind of everybody as a practice
[00:00:44.820]just ended and we're gonna kind of grab their gear their bags or bottles and
[00:00:49.740]kind of exit the gym as a practice is over.
[00:00:57.240]Alright let's cut. The St. John's students are so excited to be in it they
[00:01:01.880]really look up to the UNL volleyball players and we talk about it all the
[00:01:05.600]time so I think this will be a pretty special special day for them.

[00:01:11.900]So this is Memorial Stadium.
[00:01:14.900]This is where the football team, the Nebraska football team plays, but it's also where Volleyball Day happened.
[00:01:23.900]So this is where the Nebraska volleyball team played outside and beat the record for the highest attended game for women's sports.
[00:01:37.900]Nebraska is now a world record holder!
[00:01:42.900]I was here, I stood right behind the Nebraska bench, probably on that 40 yard line right there.
[00:01:48.900]I saw a lot of my volleyball players here that night and it was just pure joy to be able to experience that together.
[00:01:55.900]Our little middle school volleyball team, they've always had big dreams. They all want to play college volleyball, they all want to succeed.
[00:02:02.900]But after Volleyball Day, seeing what kind of audience and what kind of support they can get from a community,
[00:02:06.900]like Nebraska, was unmatched.
