PARTT will be held Aug. 22, at PREEC in Scottsbluff. Among the speakers will be Dr. Mohamed Khalil, Nebraska Extension Assistant Geoscientist Applied Geophysics discusses seepage in hydraulic structures like dams.

[00:00:44.660]Nebraska has 5% of the dams classified as having high hazard potential. There are many reasons for
[00:00:54.220]seepage. So it could be a permeable layer within the dam or the foundation of the dam,
[00:01:01.000]some cracks or animals, borers or something like that. So there are many reasons for seepage.
