[00:00:06.120]I'm a biological systems engineering major
[00:00:08.670]here at the University of Nasca Lincoln,
[00:00:10.350]and I'm going into my junior year.
[00:00:12.120]I'm walking to lab.
[00:00:13.170]Let me tell you a bit about my project for this summer.
[00:00:15.265]So my goal is to create a wearable ultrasound patch
[00:00:19.590]that can detect and monitor blood flow in the brain.
[00:00:23.850]All right, so now we're in Doctor Markovitch's lab
[00:00:26.400]over on main campus in the length of Nebraska Hall,
[00:00:28.675]and we are working on some prototypes for our first patches.
[00:00:32.856]We're gonna insert a layer of silicone in there
[00:00:35.820]and get our first electrode cured in place,
[00:00:38.760]wish us luck.
[00:00:40.552]It's lunchtime over here on east campus
[00:00:43.620]the dining services does grill outs once a week,
[00:00:47.010]so we're all having burgers for lunch
[00:00:48.660]before we head back to work.
[00:00:49.740]I'm still on east campus for the morning,
[00:00:51.270]I thought I'd show you guys a bit of east campus union.
[00:00:53.997]So this place has Starbucks,
[00:00:56.426]and the line is way shorter than it is on main campus
[00:00:59.190]if you're a coffee drinker like me.
[00:01:01.020]And this is a great place to hang out with friends,

[00:01:04.404]if you like a little bit more of a lively atmosphere.

[00:01:09.270]and want show you guys news building on campus, Kiewit Hall.
[00:01:12.035]This is now basically the hub of the College of Engineering.
[00:01:15.570]It's got some awesome study rooms,
[00:01:16.941]most of our main classes for engineering
[00:01:21.219]are in this building now., has a pretty tasty cafe,
[00:01:23.250]and engineering Student services is in here.
[00:01:25.313]I'm on the first floor of Kiewit Hall now,
[00:01:27.720]and one of my favorite places to stop by and see
[00:01:29.726]is the maker space in the basement.
[00:01:32.520]All of our engineering clubs,
[00:01:33.870]if they build something really cool
[00:01:35.010]like to display it here, like the Aerospace Club Rockets,
[00:01:37.313]and a Luna Botics robot, as well as some Baja cars.

[00:01:59.730]about the College of Engineering
[00:02:00.840]in our little corner of campus
[00:02:02.240]is that all of the engineering buildings are connected.
[00:02:05.010]So I can get all the way from Kiewit Hall,
[00:02:06.870]the newest building, here to Nebraska Hall,
[00:02:09.068]so I can get to all of my classes super quick
[00:02:12.540]no matter what the weather is.
[00:02:14.850]Now that we're both done with work,
[00:02:15.757]me and my friend Abby are here at De Mill Telegraph,
[00:02:19.620]it's about a 15 minute walk
[00:02:21.180]or five minute drive from campus,
[00:02:22.620]it's a nice local coffee spot.
[00:02:24.630]So the summer class we're taking
[00:02:26.190]is why we met up, is entering statistics.
[00:02:28.590]So we got some homework gotta do,
