- [00:00:08.800]for every day of the career
- [00:00:09.920]fair and you'll be able to
- [00:00:10.990]access those on the University

- [00:00:14.270]ahead of the career fairs. You
- [00:00:16.010]can see the physical layout
- [00:00:17.600]of the career fair by taking a
- [00:00:19.040]look at the map as you can see
- [00:00:20.420]on this screen and a couple
- [00:00:21.700]other
- [00:00:21.920]features I want to point out
- [00:00:23.170]quickly that I think will help
- [00:00:24.540]you prepare for the career fair
- [00:00:25.990]as well.
- [00:00:27.040]One are the filters over here,
- [00:00:28.640]so you can click on these three
- [00:00:30.170]horizontal lines. You can see
- [00:00:31.600]the
- [00:00:31.760]categories that our employers
- [00:00:33.490]have been filtered into. A lot
- [00:00:35.260]of them are based on career
- [00:00:36.800]focus
- [00:00:37.200]areas. Some of them are also
- [00:00:38.680]based on if employers are
- [00:00:39.990]friendly or they hire students
- [00:00:41.520]from different
- [00:00:41.920]groups. You can see first year
- [00:00:43.540]friendly here. There's also
- [00:00:45.110]international friendly,
- [00:00:46.490]military
- [00:00:46.880]veteran friendly. When you
- [00:00:48.150]click on one of these
- [00:00:49.020]categories, it will highlight
- [00:00:50.400]the employers who
- [00:00:51.520]are a part of that category.
- [00:00:52.840]That's a great way for you to
- [00:00:54.040]be able to see who you might
- [00:00:55.360]want to
- [00:00:55.600]go and talk to at the fair. You
- [00:00:56.920]can also see the categories
- [00:00:56.920]that are based on career focus
- [00:00:56.920]areas.
- [00:00:56.920]When you click on one of these
- [00:00:56.920]categories, it will highlight
- [00:00:56.920]the employers who are a part of
- [00:00:56.920]that
- [00:00:56.920]category. That's a great way
- [00:00:56.920]for you to be able to see who
- [00:00:56.920]you might want to go and talk
- [00:00:56.920]to at the fair.
- [00:00:57.000]You can also click on one of
- [00:00:59.480]the employers from this
- [00:01:01.240]alphabetical list over here to
- [00:01:02.970]see where
- [00:01:03.360]they're located on the career
- [00:01:04.680]fair map. You can see which
- [00:01:05.810]categories they fall into. They're
- [00:01:07.360]tagged there and then a short
- [00:01:08.560]description of the company as
- [00:01:09.820]well. Looking at these maps
- [00:01:12.000]ahead of
- [00:01:12.400]time is going to help you feel
- [00:01:13.460]more prepared for the career
- [00:01:14.450]fair and obviously we'll have
- [00:01:15.600]them available at the career
- [00:01:16.880]fair as well. Again, you can
