[00:00:01.470]that's called Street Art 2, Mural Masters.
[00:00:04.290]You know, a big part of what communities wanted was murals.
[00:00:09.630]And murals can revitalize spaces.

[00:00:17.970]This class does a number of practical things.
[00:00:20.040]They have the design expertise,
[00:00:21.720]they have the execution expertise.
[00:00:25.170]They know how to organize,
[00:00:26.580]they know how to work with community.
[00:00:28.800]This was a collective idea from our entire staff.
[00:00:32.070]Our sales department sits across the street,
[00:00:33.930]and you are looking at a blank wall every day, all day long.
[00:00:37.320]So the idea amongst the team
[00:00:39.210]was maybe we should paint something there.
[00:00:41.310]And then we kind of figured out
[00:00:43.050]what our collaboration could be
[00:00:45.150]with the University of Nebraska students.
[00:00:46.800]And so the dream was born right there,
[00:00:49.290]and today, we're painting a mural.
[00:00:51.389]I mean, there's no way that only one or two of us
[00:00:55.410]could have done this.
[00:00:56.243]So it's been such a group effort.
[00:00:57.391]I think that's what's so cool about this project
[00:00:59.438]is everyone's working on it.
[00:01:01.620]And I don't know, there's a little piece of all of us
[00:01:04.470]in there and different styles.
[00:01:06.454]I think that when we have community paint days
[00:01:10.491]like we are today,
[00:01:12.600]that is about fostering youth development,
[00:01:15.165]a sense of ownership in your city,
[00:01:18.120]a sense of belonging in your city.
[00:01:21.000]Working with Sandra and her team has been seamless,
[00:01:23.670]super, super easy.
[00:01:24.841]They have great ideas.
