- [00:01:07.148]Adults who do not have an agricultural background often
- [00:01:11.038]assume that they have little to offer the 4-H program as a volunteer.
- [00:01:16.193]While agricultural programs are traditional 4-H projects,
- [00:01:20.563]4-H offers over 150 projects ranging from

- [00:01:53.852]When it comes to volunteerism, the 4-H program has the flexibility

- [00:02:05.166]for a series of weeks to once a month for a year and everything in between.
- [00:02:11.038]Traditional 4-H club leaders usually hold club meetings once per month

- [00:02:20.740]community service, projects, and teambuilding skills.
- [00:02:25.439]All it takes is the willingness of an adult to share their time and talents
- [00:02:29.887]with youth as a mentor to make a positive influence.
- [00:02:33.972]A relationship with a caring adult is one of the essential elements
- [00:02:38.102]of the 4-H program and the rewards are endless.
- [00:02:42.586]Upon successful completion of the volunteer enrollment
- [00:02:47.376]through 4-Honline, a background check,
