[00:00:14.451]and Natural Resources because of the people.
[00:00:17.460]We have absolutely amazing students,
[00:00:19.587]faculty, staff, alums, stakeholders,
[00:00:22.947]and the work that we do is so impactful.

[00:00:28.376]and serving the state of Nebraska.

[00:00:32.820]So an exciting thing that's been happening in our college
[00:00:35.693]is the celebration of CASNR's 150th anniversary
[00:00:40.140]as well as the Institute of Ag
[00:00:41.910]and Natural Resource's 50th anniversary.
[00:00:44.670]This has really been an important time
[00:00:46.440]in the college's history,
[00:00:47.730]it's allowed us to be able to reflect upon the past,
[00:00:50.730]celebrate the present, and really dream big about the future
[00:00:53.940]and how we are going to be impactful
[00:00:56.400]in the lives of our learners across the state of Nebraska
[00:00:59.190]as well as all Nebraskans and our global society.

[00:01:06.360]My husband loves golfing,
[00:01:07.800]my two children have done competitive golfing,
[00:01:11.190]and so I find myself a lot of times on a golf course.
[00:01:14.400]And I am not a golfer.
[00:01:15.462]I'm not very talented at all in that space.
[00:01:21.060]So my son is 14 and my husband, I think,
[00:01:25.200]had a putter in his hand when he was about three,
[00:01:28.050]and so he's an avid golfer, he does competitive golf,
[00:01:32.160]and he is looking forward to starting high school this year
[00:01:34.860]and he's gonna be playing for Lincoln East,
[00:01:36.630]so we're excited about that.
[00:01:38.250]When I go to tournaments, I love being there with the kids,
[00:01:40.900]but when it gets down to the very end
[00:01:43.380]and they're in competition, it's a bit stressful for me.
[00:01:46.080]So I find that I switched from being the biggest fan person
[00:01:49.380]to like doing this a lot,
[00:01:50.820]just as I'm waiting to hear if the putt went in or not.

[00:01:58.440]is on par with my best days as dean.
