Description

It’s that time of year to enroll in Holt County 4-H Shooting Sports! The deadline to enroll in Holt County 4-H Shooting Sports is February 1st! Starting early in the year is vital so youth attend the appropriate safety meetings and have multiple practices to make sure they are using safe gun handling skills and understand the sound fundamentals of shooting. After all the 4-H Slogan is “Learn by Doing”.

[00:01:40.362]The focus of the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports program
[00:01:44.633]are the total development of the 4-H member.
[00:01:48.453]The shooting sports and related natural resource activities
[00:01:52.633]are utilized as a vehicle for human growth and development.
[00:01:57.475]It uses the skills and disciplines of shooting to assist young people
[00:02:03.073]and their leaders in obtaining knowledge and developing skills.
[00:02:08.369]4-H Shooting Sports promotes positive
[00:02:11.824]youth-adult interactions and peer leadership.
