- [00:02:10.599]for the School of Natural Resources which is part of CASNR.
- [00:02:13.933]Academic Advising is a key to student success.
- [00:02:16.666]And in CASNR, we have both faculty advisors and professional
- [00:02:20.150]advisors to guide you.
- [00:02:21.766]Hi, I'm Julie Obermeyer and I'm CASNR's career development
- [00:02:26.383]and corporate relations director.
- [00:02:28.283]I'm here to help students make that transition to the real world.
- [00:02:32.150]So once you become a student, I'm here to help support you
- [00:02:36.199]in finding experiences along the way that help you discover
- [00:02:39.650]what you may want to do.
- [00:02:41.349]And then find that full-time experience or get into graduate school.

- [00:03:33.766]I'm studying animal science and I'm a pre-vet student.
- [00:03:36.500]And my favorite thing about CASNR is just how welcoming all the professors are.
- [00:03:40.183]It was super easy to talk to everybody when I first came on campus.

- [00:03:44.849]I'm majoring in horticulture and minoring in the Engler program.
- [00:03:48.283]And the reason why I chose CASNR is because I could pursue
- [00:03:51.533]my passion through CASNR and find my true self.
- [00:03:55.750]Hi, my name is Samantha Weeder.
- [00:03:57.449]I'm a sophomore majoring in ag business.
- [00:04:00.133]And my favorite thing about CASNR is the family like atmosphere.
- [00:04:03.516]It's such a community.
- [00:04:04.833]All the faculty know our names and they're so easy to talk to.
- [00:04:15.783]The best part about visiting East Campus is stopping by the
- [00:04:18.616]dairy store for a treat.
