[00:00:13.120]as well as the Dining Dollars payment option methods
[00:00:15.700]for UNL students on both city and east campuses.
[00:00:19.520]With the Transact Mobile Order app,
[00:00:21.430]all members, students of the UNL campus community,
[00:00:23.870]from both East and City campuses,
[00:00:25.770]can use the app to mobile order drinks
[00:00:27.690]and meals with cashless transaction.
[00:00:29.710]Downloading the app from the app store or Google play,
[00:00:32.510]selecting the University of Nebraska Lincoln as your campus,
[00:00:35.640]then signing in with your university credentials
[00:00:38.150]will allow you to skip lines
[00:00:39.530]at the Nebraska Union restaurants
[00:00:40.810]like Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Subway, Steak 'n Shake,
[00:00:43.360]and Valentino's on campus.
[00:00:45.350]Food court restaurants in the two union locations
[00:00:47.670]are part of the app's restaurant listings.
[00:00:50.200]It's easy to use, quick to eat,
[00:00:52.050]all with the convenience of contactless payments.
[00:00:54.520]UNL students who wanna order at Harper,
[00:00:56.470]Abel, or Cather Dining Centers,
[00:00:58.190]as well as Selleck Food Court,
[00:00:59.540]and East Campus Dining Center,
[00:01:01.240]can use their Transact Mobile Ordering app
[00:01:03.410]to build and select their meals.
[00:01:05.180]The app generates a personalized QR code,
[00:01:07.430]which then you can show to those employees
[00:01:09.160]of those facilities for fast and easy pickup.
[00:01:11.860]One very important key difference to note
[00:01:13.970]regarding meal payment options
[00:01:16.100]is the difference between the Transact Mobile app
[00:01:18.860]and Dining Dollars.
[00:01:20.290]Now with Dining Dollars,
[00:01:21.300]they are a separate reloadable balance
[00:01:22.970]that students can use for smaller purchases,
[00:01:25.180]outside of all of those, all-you-can-eat meals.
[00:01:27.670]Students can also use their Dining Dollar
[00:01:29.720]reloadable balances of their meal plans
[00:01:31.770]at Herbie's Markets, Husker Heroes,
[00:01:34.230]and at all the food vendors in the Nebraska Union.
[00:01:36.910]So think of Dining Dollars kind of like a debit card.
[00:01:39.480]Any student, regardless of whether
[00:01:41.180]they have a campus meal plan or not,
[00:01:43.020]can have a Dining Dollars reloadable account.
[00:01:45.510]Dining Dollars can be used for purchases
[00:01:47.730]in the dining centers I mentioned previously,
[00:01:50.120]as well as at Husker Heroes and Herbie's Markets.
[00:01:52.680]And to utilize your reloadable Dining Dollars
[00:01:54.840]at Selleck Food Court and with Nebraska Union Food Vendors,
[00:01:58.560]students would need to download
[00:01:59.810]the Transact Mobile Ordering app,
[00:02:01.930]make their purchase,
[00:02:03.130]and then select Dining Dollars upon checkout.
[00:02:06.070]Then show the in-app receipt QR code
[00:02:08.710]when you go to pick up your purchase.
[00:02:10.720]And just so there's no confusion,
[00:02:12.390]with students that have a UNL meal plan,
[00:02:14.760]those meal plan swipes can be used
[00:02:16.170]in any of those dining centers I mentioned previously.
[00:02:18.830]The only places where meal plan swipes cannot be used
[00:02:21.570]is at any of the Nebraska Union food vendors.
[00:02:24.540]Dining Dollars are in addition to meal plans
[00:02:26.850]that give students that flexibility to purchase food items.
[00:02:30.060]Students utilizing their reloadable Dining Dollars
[00:02:32.810]can often present their N Card
[00:02:34.190]at the Herbie's Market register.
[00:02:36.260]And the total of those items purchased
[00:02:37.820]count towards their Dining Dollars allotment.
[00:02:40.410]You might find yourself asking
[00:02:41.610]what's the difference between Dining Dollars
[00:02:43.550]and your meal plan swipes.
[00:02:45.190]So Dining Dollars are able to be used
[00:02:46.830]in any of those Herbie's Markets on campus.
[00:02:49.290]Meal plan swipes are used in the dining centers
[00:02:51.900]and count towards your meals per week balance.
[00:02:54.480]It's important to recognize that ordering
[00:02:56.290]with the Transact Mobile App
[00:02:57.690]is different from utilizing
[00:02:59.030]your student N card Dining Dollars.
[00:03:01.080]Students dining at Willa Cather dining center,
[00:03:03.540]or at Selleck, can use their N card
[00:03:05.530]to purchase individual meals
[00:03:06.990]instead of paying a flat fee to enter.
[00:03:09.140]The Transact Mobile Ordering app
[00:03:10.780]does allow you to order by way of credit card.
[00:03:13.220]First thing you do is open your app on your mobile device.
[00:03:16.200]Then once you're in,
[00:03:17.033]you'd select more in the bottom tool bar.
[00:03:19.400]From there you'd select payment methods,
[00:03:21.250]which you can see here,
[00:03:22.840]and beyond that, you would then select add credit card,
[00:03:25.470]and then input your card information.
[00:03:27.960]Once completed, your credit card will then appear
[00:03:29.710]as the payment option when you check out
[00:03:31.330]at any of the participating restaurants.
