[00:00:21.710]In this video, I'll be going over enrollment verifications,
[00:00:24.840]what they are, and how you can order one
[00:00:27.070]if you were to ever need one.
[00:00:29.000]Let's begin.
[00:00:30.460]An enrollment verification is an official document
[00:00:33.120]that provides the enrollment status,
[00:00:34.990]number of credits enrolled, and any degrees earned
[00:00:38.280]within a specific period of attendance.
[00:00:41.310]So, this document does not include individual course
[00:00:43.980]or grade information,
[00:00:45.110]and cannot be used in place
[00:00:46.460]of an official academic transcript.
[00:00:48.820]An enrollment verification is
[00:00:50.470]for the request of verification of a student status
[00:00:53.380]for purpose such as scholarship application,
[00:00:55.630]loan deferment, insurance applications,
[00:00:58.280]or other processes where student enrollment status
[00:01:00.760]is a factor.
[00:01:02.850]What we'll do next is show you how to, on MyRED,
[00:01:06.010]order an enrollment verification if you were to ever need...
[00:01:09.600]To order a paper transcript via MyRED,
[00:01:12.760]you will hover over the academics tab,
[00:01:16.250]and select the "order official verification" option.
[00:01:20.180]You do have two options of ordering the paper verification
[00:01:22.900]as well as an electronic verification.
[00:01:25.820]I will be going over how to order
[00:01:27.490]an electronic verification later in this video.
[00:01:30.980]For now, to order a paper verification to be mailed,
[00:01:34.740]you will select this option
[00:01:37.240]And you'll be brought to this page.
[00:01:39.010]You'll have your NUID name at the top.
[00:01:41.710]Now, there are two different types of enrollment options.
[00:01:44.590]There's an enrollment verification
[00:01:46.450]for your enrollment status,
[00:01:48.140]or degree verification for your degree status.
[00:01:51.890]We will be focusing on enrollment.
[00:01:53.670]But if you need either,
[00:01:54.940]you can select one or the other, or both.
[00:02:00.050]Now, you have different term options.
[00:02:02.250]If you select history, it will include every semester
[00:02:06.090]since the beginning of your enrollment period
[00:02:08.970]that you were enrolled in.
[00:02:11.440]A single term will include
[00:02:13.310]just the current term that we are in,
[00:02:15.360]and it will allow you to select that.
[00:02:17.870]For the calendar year, it will include every semester
[00:02:20.660]within the current calendar year.
[00:02:24.890]Som for example, if we select single term,
[00:02:28.420]you are able to select the term
[00:02:30.490]that you are wanting your enrollment verification from.
[00:02:36.410]There are other options to include
[00:02:38.620]on your verification.
[00:02:40.360]You can include your date of birth,
[00:02:42.140]as well as your current program if needed.
[00:02:45.110]For mailing options,
[00:02:46.660]if you are needing to send to another address,
[00:02:49.500]you can select that option here,
[00:02:51.760]and you will have the opportunity to submit a new address.
[00:02:56.220]Be sure that you are correctly
[00:02:58.910]and putting all of the information.
[00:03:01.900]You can also select "send to my address,"
[00:03:04.360]and any address that is currently on file
[00:03:06.790]on your MyRED student portal will display there.
[00:03:09.830]And if you have multiple,
[00:03:10.890]you can select the one that you would like.
[00:03:15.690]You will then hit submit.
[00:03:18.410]And you'll receive the confirmation
[00:03:20.860]that your verification request has been received
[00:03:22.990]and will be processed.
[00:03:26.610]In this part of the video,
[00:03:27.600]I'll explain how you can order
[00:03:29.140]an electronic enrollment verification via MyRED.
[00:03:32.690]You'll start by hovering over the academics tab
[00:03:35.160]and select "order official verification."
[00:03:38.810]From there, we will go to the right hand side
[00:03:41.720]where it says "order electronic verification,"
[00:03:45.100]and you'll then be redirected to the parchment website.
[00:03:49.030]This is the website UNL for students
[00:03:51.280]to order official documents.
[00:03:53.430]You will select "Enrollment Verification-Electronic"
[00:03:56.320]for this purpose.
[00:03:57.970]From here, you can select the transcript level.
[00:04:00.950]You can do a normal enrollment verification with your status
[00:04:04.610]or enrollment verification including your GPA.
[00:04:08.200]It will be electronic and delivered immediately.
[00:04:11.450]You can enter the recipient's name
[00:04:13.640]to whom you are sending it to here,
[00:04:16.430]and then you will have the opportunity
[00:04:18.450]to enter their email address in the following field.
[00:04:22.420]You do have the option to choose and upload a file.
[00:04:26.100]And you will be asked the purpose for your request.
[00:04:29.770]You can select any of these that apply.
[00:04:32.250]Or if you prefer not to answer,
[00:04:34.160]you can select the bottom option.
[00:04:37.280]You'll then continue and be brought to the review page.
[00:04:41.110]You can see your current order,
[00:04:42.920]and if you would like to add more
[00:04:45.240]you can select continue shopping
[00:04:47.970]or check out if you are done.
[00:04:53.590]Now, you are being notified that you are providing consent
[00:04:57.040]to deliver these by logging into MyRED.
[00:04:59.930]In this section, you can review
[00:05:01.380]that the information is correct on your order.
[00:05:04.400]And you will lastly be asked to enter payment information
[00:05:07.530]as well as your billing address.
[00:05:09.670]You will submit the payment to receive an electronic copy
[00:05:12.840]of your enrollment verification.
