[00:00:09.900]This summer, one of my major accomplishments
[00:00:11.900]was working on a leadership training workshop series.
[00:00:15.200]And so we hosted a bunch of different workshops
[00:00:18.350]where we got to help members of the community
[00:00:20.720]improve upon their leadership skills,
[00:00:22.430]talking about things like (indistinct)
[00:00:25.610]and inclusive leadership and building trust as a leader
[00:00:29.810]in managing change and all sorts of different topics
[00:00:32.440]that really just helped people to become better leaders,
[00:00:35.210]better employees, better co-workers.
[00:00:37.970]So having those three in the office
[00:00:40.710]has helped us bring some things to fruition,
[00:00:43.520]including some workforce ready trainings.
[00:00:47.890]I asked them and they have created that
[00:00:50.150]from start to finish. They have marketed it.
[00:00:53.710]One of them will even be the instructor
[00:00:56.120]for one of the days.
[00:00:57.530]And so those sold out that community
[00:01:00.460]is really excited about those opportunities.
[00:01:03.060]I love this experience
[00:01:04.476]because it almost directly transfers
[00:01:06.410]into what I'm wanting to do in my future.
[00:01:08.710]I'm wanting to go into workforce development
[00:01:10.970]and host different training programs
[00:01:13.440]and really just help people become better at their jobs
[00:01:15.690]and better leaders.
[00:01:16.850]It hopefully make work a more enjoyable experience

[00:01:20.550]definitely went skills that I can take in my future.
