[00:00:58.190]"What can I sell at the market today?"
[00:01:01.130]Remember during this time there was what we call: barter trade
[00:01:06.050]Barter trade simply means
[00:01:08.240]one would have meat. Another one would have fish.
[00:01:10.730]They would just exchange. There was no money involved.
[00:01:14.080]So there was an exchange of goods as a way of trade.
[00:01:18.200]So this man looked onto his gallon of milk
[00:01:22.820]because he wanted rice and said,
[00:01:25.149]"Whoa. I don't have milk."
[00:01:28.070]but I want rice. What am I going to do?"
[00:01:31.208]So he decided to cheat.
[00:01:33.380]He decided to put water
[00:01:35.890]into his gallon of milk.
