Back and Forth Games

Parents will often accuse children of playing games to manipulate. But, it is true that parents like to play games, too. Parents feel if they play these games they will “win” the child over to their side. Really? Children are not a prize to be won and they are not game pieces to manipulate on a game board. Children win when they have both loving parents involved in their lives to focus on their needs and keep them securely out of the middle of conflict and adult games.
