- [00:01:02.020]It is our expectation that if camp personnel learn of discrimination or harassment or could
- [00:01:07.080]reasonably conclude that it is happening at their camp, then camp personnel will report

- [00:01:32.000]Sexual misconduct includes sexual harassment, dating and domestic violence, sexual assault,

- [00:02:51.260]Stalking is a pattern of behavior that is directed at an individual and would make a
- [00:02:55.280]reasonable person afraid for their safety, the safety of others, or experience significant
- [00:03:00.260]emotional distress.
- [00:03:02.580]If there is an imminent concern for someone's safety or a crime is in progress, call 911.
- [00:03:08.500]Report discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct to Institutional Equity and Compliance

- [00:04:06.240]Under Nebraska law, any individual over the age of 19 is required to report child abuse
- [00:04:11.880]to law enforcement or the Department of Health and Human Services.
- [00:04:15.700]You are welcome to report suspected child abuse to the University Police to satisfy

- [00:04:21.960]The Youth Safety Policy indicates that chaperones and other adults should not be alone with
- [00:04:26.460]youth in a one-on-one setting.
- [00:04:28.380]This policy is designed to protect youth by preventing situations where abuse could occur.
- [00:04:33.700]The policy also protects chaperones and other adults against being in a situation where
- [00:04:38.100]abuse may be alleged.
- [00:04:40.160]Again, all activity workers and activity support staff are responsible for the safety of the
- [00:04:45.700]participants for the duration of the youth activity.
