[00:00:17.207]that you are becoming a part of our

[00:00:23.660]As a graduate of this university,
[00:00:25.550]I know firsthand how meaningful the
[00:00:27.681]journey you're about to take will be.
[00:00:30.500]As you prepare for this major transition,

[00:00:34.577]many questions, concerns,
[00:00:36.320]and possibly even some fears,
[00:00:38.780]that's okay because you've

[00:00:43.104]and Human Sciences is called
[00:00:44.943]"the people's college" for a reason,
[00:00:47.258]helping people and
[00:00:48.388]supporting each other
[00:00:49.430]is that the core of what we do.
[00:00:51.993]As a student in CEHS,
[00:00:53.990]my hope is that you will always feel supported
[00:00:56.124]and know that you have a team
[00:00:58.124]around you that is
[00:00:59.315]ready and happy to help.

[00:01:34.880]students discover new passions

[00:01:40.571]you may be wondering where to begin!

[00:01:50.930]and form a connection with someone
[00:01:52.816]who wants to help you succeed.

[00:02:02.605]who can help you personalize your
[00:02:04.310]experience.
[00:02:05.540]You should also make plans to connect
[00:02:07.575]with one of our CEHS Career Coaches
[00:02:10.370]who are dedicated to helping you
[00:02:12.324]explore opportunities,
[00:02:14.000]gain experiences
[00:02:15.500]and tell your story to make your
[00:02:17.769]dream career path a reality.
[00:02:20.060]When I say the college is here
[00:02:21.764]to help, I want you to know that
[00:02:23.720]I mean that not only when it
[00:02:25.585]comes to your academic pursuits,
[00:02:27.380]but across all areas of your life.

[00:02:31.679]racial and economic crises
[00:02:33.698]have resulted in real and
[00:02:35.210]ongoing challenges across society.
[00:02:38.120]As a CEHS student,
[00:02:39.890]you will have our support with
[00:02:41.253]any challenge that you face.
[00:02:43.310]We may not always have
[00:02:44.381]the answers or solutions,
[00:02:46.100]but you will always find someone
[00:02:47.806]to talk with in this college.
