- [00:00:00.540]So now that you have a couple people who are interested in joining your
- [00:00:03.930]organization and have mentioned that,
- [00:00:06.360]or that they want to learn more about the organization,
- [00:00:09.810]there's a couple of different ways to be able to get their information.
- [00:00:12.630]You can do the traditional paper and pen,
- [00:00:15.450]but you can also do the more digital route,
- [00:00:18.570]which is probably the better way to go.
- [00:00:21.090]So how you would do that is you'd first go to your portal on NvolveU. Once
- [00:00:25.620]you're there, you can see that the blue join button will be on that page.
- [00:00:29.430]What we're hoping people will do is go directly to that page and click join, that
- [00:00:33.690]way. You'll have their information because their own account on NvolveU is
- [00:00:37.830]linked to that. But how are you going to get them to this page?
- [00:00:40.440]How you would do that is copying your link for your page, the URL,
- [00:00:44.790]then go to a site called go.unl.edu. Once you've logged in,
- [00:00:48.660]you'll see a page like this. You'll paste that link from your NvolveU page,
- [00:00:53.100]and then you'll hit create URL.
- [00:00:55.440]Now you have two different options to be able to get somebody to your NvolveU
- [00:00:59.880]page, to join your organization. You can either give them this link,
- [00:01:05.160]or you can have a printout of this QR code at your booth,
- [00:01:09.720]and people can scan it with their phone and go directly to the website.
- [00:01:13.500]Those are two different ways to do it with the join now button,
- [00:01:16.440]but there's also another way to go about doing this.
- [00:01:19.560]Let's say that you wanted to have them fill out an application and you want to
- [00:01:22.890]do to redirect them to that application that has all the information that they
- [00:01:26.190]need to give you their phone number or your name, all of those things.
- [00:01:31.020]Well, once you're on your organization's page,
- [00:01:33.900]we'll go to your manage function and you'll have to create a form if you already
- [00:01:38.250]haven't, but I've already created a form so we can show you the process.
- [00:01:42.000]You'll go up to your hamburger menu. You'll go to forms.
- [00:01:44.940]And once you're on forms, the form that you've created will show up here.
- [00:01:48.930]If you want to share that form of somebody you're going to need to click on
- [00:01:51.690]share. Then once again, a link will pop up. We're going to copy that link,
- [00:01:56.550]go back to our UNL page for our URLs.
- [00:02:00.990]Then we're going to actually click and add a new URL. So we'll paste this link and
- [00:02:05.460]we'll create that URL. And once again,
- [00:02:07.620]you can have this sheet on your recruitment booth with the URL that will direct
- [00:02:12.210]the student directly to that sign-up sheet form,
- [00:02:15.270]or you can have the QR code where they can scan that with their phone.
- [00:02:18.540]And it goes directly to the recruitment form that you have.
- [00:02:22.560]So what that form will look like after you've created, one is similar to this.
- [00:02:27.570]So I'm going to open this so you can see what it looks like.
- [00:02:32.400]So you can ask custom questions, like, what is your name?
- [00:02:37.110]What is your phone number? What is your email?
- [00:02:40.320]And that will show up something like this. And once again,
- [00:02:43.200]after the person submitted the information, they'll have all of that,
- [00:02:46.420]then you can reach back out to the person at a later date.
The screen size you are trying to search captions on is too small!
