[00:00:08.360]It's the end of the spring semester
[00:00:10.240]and we have much to celebrate. Nebraska Business
[00:00:13.690]earned a five-year reaccreditation
[00:00:15.453]in business and accounting from the
[00:00:17.470]Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business,
[00:00:20.557]a worldwide marker of quality in business education.
[00:00:24.370]The designation places Nebraska
[00:00:26.540]in the top 5% of business schools globally.
[00:00:30.189]Fewer than 200 universities earn both accreditations.
[00:00:34.430]It's a testament to the impact of our faculty and staff
[00:00:37.830]and how our students are held to the highest standards.
[00:00:41.730]Recently, BYU ranked the School of Accountancy
[00:00:45.270]in the top 15% for faculty research productivity out
[00:00:49.670]of more than 600 national and international institutions.
[00:00:54.067]We were also number two in the Big 10.
[00:00:57.610]In April, we hosted our 36th Annual Advisory Board
[00:01:01.500]award celebration.
[00:01:03.020]We presented four awards to those making an impact
[00:01:06.440]in business.
[00:01:08.311]Jack O'Holleran received the young alumni award.
[00:01:12.090]Being a Husker prepared me to start my own business
[00:01:16.500]in a lot of ways.
[00:01:17.333]And there's something
[00:01:18.390]about Nebraska football, about toughness, resilience,
[00:01:21.470]and giving it your all that I think carried
[00:01:23.960]over very well into being a founder of a company.
[00:01:28.980]The corporate leadership award went to Kiewit.
[00:01:31.750]Kiewit recruits at the College of Business
[00:01:33.020]cause we're looking for talented folks
[00:01:34.307]with strong business ethics
[00:01:36.010]that will make Kiewit even stronger.
[00:01:38.000]And at the College of Business, we find
[00:01:39.390]that when we find people looking for distinctive experience
[00:01:42.250]and Kiewit's going to provide that for them.
[00:01:44.540]Mike Dunlap received the
[00:01:45.940]Business Leadership Award.
[00:01:48.180]Well, one of our main values at Nelnet is to give back
[00:01:50.680]to the communities that we work in and work with.
[00:01:52.668]I think it's key to try to keep the community vibrant
[00:01:55.469]for our associates.
[00:01:56.880]So they, they want to move
[00:01:58.100]to Lincoln and want to live in Lincoln.
[00:01:59.600]They want to stay in Lincoln.
[00:02:01.070]It's a great community and how can,
[00:02:02.350]how can we make it greater in the future?
[00:02:04.480]And Allan Noddle was honored
[00:02:05.618]with a lifetime achievement award.
[00:02:07.830]I had some bad days, but I never had a bad job.
[00:02:13.140]I was lucky and blessed to be successful.
[00:02:16.870]I learned real quickly,
[00:02:18.640]that's even more fun than getting there
[00:02:21.470]was giving somebody else the experience that I had.

[00:02:56.340]A milestone in our graduates lives,
[00:02:58.870]our May commencement was held
[00:03:00.690]for the first time at Memorial Stadium.
[00:03:03.490]It was exciting to look out over Tom Osborne Field
[00:03:06.630]and see our Nebraska business graduates.
[00:03:09.190]It reminded us that at Nebraska, we do big things together.
