- [00:00:10.250]Hello.
- [00:00:11.300]In this video, I will be showing you what to do
- [00:00:14.360]if no schedules are generated in the Enrollment Scheduler.
- [00:00:19.200]Be sure that the class you are wanting to enroll in
- [00:00:21.830]is added to the scheduler.
- [00:00:24.160]Also, if you're already enrolled in other courses,
- [00:00:27.770]make sure all the blue check boxes are selected
- [00:00:30.900]under the Current Schedule list.
- [00:00:36.370]If there are scheduling conflicts,
- [00:00:38.320]you'll see this error message
- [00:00:39.980]after pressing the Generate Schedules button.
- [00:00:45.140]This occurs when two courses have a time conflict
- [00:00:48.380]or if the course or courses you're wanting to add
- [00:00:51.840]conflict with a break that you have created.
- [00:00:54.950]Sometimes, as shown here,
- [00:00:57.190]the message tells you exactly what is causing a conflict.
- [00:01:01.010]To solve the issue, you may have to add a different class
- [00:01:04.570]or switch to a different section of a current class
- [00:01:07.460]to make room for the new addition or additions.
- [00:01:11.760]You can view available sections and times
- [00:01:14.620]using the Sections button next to the course.
- [00:01:22.020]However, sometimes no schedules are generated
- [00:01:25.460]and the error message does not tell you
- [00:01:27.530]what the conflict is.
- [00:01:29.420]If this is the case, you can troubleshoot
- [00:01:31.840]to see what is causing the conflict.
- [00:01:34.710]To do this, deselect one class at a time
- [00:01:38.400]from your list of courses.
- [00:01:40.820]Be sure that you are using both the Current Schedule
- [00:01:44.050]and Courses Added list.
- [00:01:47.050]Then try to generate schedules again.
- [00:01:53.730]Do this one class at a time
- [00:01:55.850]until you have tested all the courses.
- [00:02:08.750]Whichever deselected courses had Schedules generated
- [00:02:12.520]or the courses that are causing errors,
- [00:02:14.479](playful music)
- [00:02:25.700]you can use the Sections button next to these courses
- [00:02:29.040]to see which sections are available
- [00:02:31.330]and what times they'd take place.
- [00:02:34.310]To resolve the issue,
- [00:02:35.860]you may want to see if any of these enrolled courses
- [00:02:38.940]have other available sections at different times.
- [00:02:42.480]To try all other available sections,
- [00:02:45.390]re-add the conflicting course to the Scheduler.
- [00:03:06.310]Then, deselect the course from your Current Schedule list
- [00:03:10.150]and try generating schedules again.
- [00:03:17.480]Now, if there are no other conflicts,
- [00:03:20.020]the Scheduler will list all available schedule options
- [00:03:23.260]with the class or classes you are trying to add,
- [00:03:26.180]the course that was originally conflicting,
- [00:03:28.690]and the rest of your schedule that is not changing.
- [00:03:35.050]Select a schedule and send to shopping cart.
- [00:03:45.100]You will then have to drop
- [00:03:46.790]or swap the original conflicting course
- [00:03:49.430]to allow you to enroll in the new section
- [00:03:51.980]of the same course.
