- [00:00:00.000]Glennis McClure: So that in case somebody wants to go back and look at things they can alright so i've done that.
- [00:00:06.810]Glennis McClure: Alright, so.
- [00:00:11.849]Glennis McClure: I will.
- [00:00:14.160]Glennis McClure: Share different screen here.
- [00:00:16.830]Glennis McClure: And let me know to as my audio goes out, it seems like sometimes when.
- [00:00:22.650]Glennis McClure: bandwidth or something interference, I have to make a switch so because I can be talking along you say you know you're garbled all of a sudden, so let me know if that happens alright.
- [00:00:34.860]Glennis McClure: Alright, so i'm going to.
- [00:00:39.870]Glennis McClure: Stop sharing.
- [00:00:49.890]Glennis McClure: A couple different slides here.
- [00:00:57.420]Glennis McClure: Okay.
- [00:00:59.670]Glennis McClure: So this afternoon we're going to take some time to visit about the new ad budget calculator something we're really, really excited to have launch it is really sort of in testing phase.
- [00:01:12.330]Glennis McClure: Right now, it does everything that our current budget program does.
- [00:01:16.440]Glennis McClure: plus some okay so that's that's the plan that's existing and just primarily again we work we are focused on crops, at the moment, we will be adding a livestock future in.
- [00:01:27.840]Glennis McClure: As we go along here so we're going to get into we have it, we have a full time developer on staff now to help us to dismiss there's just so many Apps so many things with.
- [00:01:39.450]Glennis McClure: Our management decision tools, now that we can do so it's great to have our JEREMY on on staff and so he's working really diligently we be with them quite often try and work through different different things.
- [00:01:53.250]Glennis McClure: So we are working on, I guess i'll explain a little bit about later, but right now trying to get into.
- [00:02:02.220]Glennis McClure: How we do overhead how did you the extra pause you know, on the farm and properly allocate those two different prices so we're ready, Mr so that also we don't have it so that we have our farm vehicle then.
- [00:02:16.110]Glennis McClure: he's working on all the other like buildings farm building so again grains in obviously dream been probably going to be charged back to this puppy enterprises, so we have some of those things that we're working on details with right now, so I have shared with you, I think the screen.
- [00:02:34.620]Glennis McClure: You see, that were some reason.
- [00:02:38.940]Glennis McClure: Okay, there we go.
- [00:02:41.880]Glennis McClure: Okay do have a couple people coming in just a moment trying to.
- [00:02:47.250]Glennis McClure: Make sure that they are all in.
- [00:02:51.420]Okay.
- [00:02:53.340]Glennis McClure: All right, so I think you can see my screen right exit calculator and the things that you can do with that.
- [00:03:02.910]Glennis McClure: When we if you've registered already I sent you a link and then you go in and you basically tell the program what your email is.
- [00:03:11.520]Glennis McClure: And you create a password so that password is yours and yours alone, to be able to go into what your account.
- [00:03:18.870]Glennis McClure: And of course the email helps us that we can kind of see in touch if there's something needed that happens, we can send you a note that's kind of Nice.
- [00:03:27.090]Glennis McClure: Right now we're just trying to communicate with those that have registered and then send them a survey, so that they have some they can provide some input.
- [00:03:37.590]Glennis McClure: If you don't have to necessarily do anything or say wait for the survey, you have questions or there's concerns i'd love to hear about those.
- [00:03:47.400]Glennis McClure: Because it's we're in the midst of development we really want this to be a user friendly program so we really appreciate it if you have engaged already got the program starting to try to work with it that's great I am You can check me.
- [00:04:13.980]Glennis McClure: i'm catching questions about I worked in the landlord stuff I see.
- [00:04:21.810]Glennis McClure: Okay yeah the landlord status is a little bit different we really I guess focused on.
- [00:04:28.710]Glennis McClure: This program from the point of view of the of the owner operator or someone that your tenant or someone, that is, you know the actual farmer or rancher.
- [00:04:38.250]Glennis McClure: And so the landlord though i've talked to some of you that are on the landlord status thing, and yes, you can make this program work there's probably some works with it.
- [00:04:49.110]Glennis McClure: But there is a way she just hearing a cash crop sheerly that you could enter what percentage what percentage of the crop is yours what percentage of certain expenses are yours, of course, usually.
- [00:05:03.180]Glennis McClure: You know the equipment costs operation field operation costs are going to be primarily the tenant so.
- [00:05:09.510]Glennis McClure: I think we can work through that and i've done some testing with that so again, if you have particular questions, let me know about stuff that i'm going to primarily focus on is five with the farmer.
- [00:05:21.120]Glennis McClure: operator, with the budget demonstration today so anyway so once you get your account started.
- [00:05:28.890]Glennis McClure: You can just go in from scratch and start working with it and start and following through you know how to enter a budget mortal will do something similar to that So you can see how to get started, if you haven't already.
- [00:05:41.550]Glennis McClure: And, as I mentioned this in this morning's program if you're on that you can of course save your budgets come back you enter your.
- [00:05:50.400]Glennis McClure: email and your password get back in and start from where you were and and let's say you've done one or two of your budgets.
- [00:05:58.710]Glennis McClure: And you know they look good you got good information Lucy next year or let's say you have another field that's really similar you may have you know multiple fields of the corn soybean whatever it may be.
- [00:06:10.830]Glennis McClure: And let's say i've entered one and I just want to duplicate what i've entered rename it go in and make some changes, whatever I do differently with the different fields.
- [00:06:20.610]Glennis McClure: And so that's kind of like there's a duplication feature that I think all of us will really appreciate, as we have fields and multiple farms that kind of thing Okay, so we can fit in our existing budgets and duplicate and so on, and then the other nice feature, one of the Nice, the next.
- [00:06:38.280]Glennis McClure: thing there is that you can download the university budgets will look at that as well, so I just wanted to share a couple slides here before we get into the DEMO part of it actually the things that you should have on hand.
- [00:06:52.440]Glennis McClure: Data that you liked in the budgeting program so of course you're going to have an idea about your property system, and you know how many acres you have a general idea of.
- [00:07:01.350]Glennis McClure: yield potential, you have a general idea, maybe of what you may be able to price that for for this given OK so again, you also know, again, what kind of chemicals are applied, what you see rates are those kinds of things.
- [00:07:16.740]Glennis McClure: You know, are all really important to have.
- [00:07:19.170]Glennis McClure: You one of the strong approaches that we take with ABC program is starting by field operations entering field operations that field operation.
- [00:07:27.810]Glennis McClure: So if we're doing burn down, then we add the chemicals that go along with that particular operation that we also.
- [00:07:34.830]Glennis McClure: Add in our machining our power units and our implements to to get that operation, done a lot of times we might hire.
- [00:07:42.540]Glennis McClure: The egg supplier The co op to do some of our spring, for us, and so there's a feature, to be able to say I hired that done custom.
- [00:07:51.090]Glennis McClure: So we'll we'll look at that your vacation system expenses same as our car unitary implements with you put that information in so you have a pretty good idea of what those costs are.
- [00:08:01.890]Glennis McClure: And as you run your irrigation systems of course material inputs and service costs all of your products that go into this field.
- [00:08:12.480]Glennis McClure: will be entered in service would be again like that custom service where are stereo sprain whatever it might be some in my truck to prosper you and you're paying.
- [00:08:21.960]Glennis McClure: For that, so those costs would go in, as well, and then I mentioned overhead a little bit ago.
- [00:08:27.600]Glennis McClure: Right now it's a static figure right now we're using $25 and paper and that's similar to what we're using in our 2021 top budget but that's a feature that's what our developers working on.
- [00:08:39.840]Glennis McClure: In that you'd be able to enter your accounting your utilities that are general farm your insurance that's general farm and to do some allocations over your.
- [00:08:48.720]Glennis McClure: over your enterprises, so we had a long meeting on that yesterday, so anyway, and then yield and revenue projection.
- [00:08:55.980]Glennis McClure: So, again you'll be able to add those in, and we are actually working on a risk module a feature.
- [00:09:02.460]Glennis McClure: Of the program where you can kind of take a look in your area let's sort of the worst case scenarios, you know was there a drought you gotta remember occasionally that.
- [00:09:13.650]Glennis McClure: When we're budgeting when we're planning it's not all you know it's not all to get lori or whatever, looking ahead and get also have to be sort of realistic and say.
- [00:09:24.840]Glennis McClure: What could be what could slow and my losses look like, if I had a drought situation like we had 10 years ago, or whatever it might be so we are working on a really.
- [00:09:35.010]Glennis McClure: cool module with that and i'm anxious to get that information out more so, and one more thing here so again we're working on that.
- [00:09:48.840]Glennis McClure: Risk module I mentioned the reconciliation of overhead expenses livestock will be working on a full farm report, so this will be kind of Nice, if I have 10 fields of porn.
- [00:09:58.920]Glennis McClure: they're all dry land or four if I want to pull all my corn fields together and take a look at what is my overall costs because I don't market necessarily that feels foreign and that feels hard I market all my corn together.
- [00:10:12.210]Glennis McClure: You know we'll be able to pull those things together and do some full farm analysis.
- [00:10:16.860]Glennis McClure: taking a look at in our overall thoughts with all of those enterprises pulled together, and then a cash flow, that would be really kind of cool that's one of our end products in that.
- [00:10:27.450]Glennis McClure: You know I think it's needed to think in terms of if I do projections ahead, and I do it by enterprise they've got pretty much all my expenses in all those enterprises it'd be nice to say well yeah I keep the expenses.
- [00:10:39.360]Glennis McClure: During these different months and, what is your cash flow situation looks like as you look ahead in your budgeting process as well Okay, so I I be seen.
- [00:10:52.680]Glennis McClure: By more people coming here.
- [00:10:57.540]Glennis McClure: Alright, so i'm going to go ahead now and get over into the program so i've gotta manipulate my screen here a bit and make sure that's all working right.
- [00:11:09.330]Glennis McClure: We love technology we've got to make sure it's working.
- [00:11:28.290]Glennis McClure: I hope that you are you seeing how the egg budget tool.
- [00:11:35.730]Glennis McClure: Make sure it's important.
- [00:11:37.890]Glennis McClure: To see it Thank you good thanks all right.
- [00:11:44.760]Glennis McClure: just looking to see if I have any other all right good.
- [00:11:47.550]Glennis McClure: All right, so yeah holler you can unmute yourself and holler if you have a question i'm not necessarily looking at who's on at the moment i'm trying to pay attention if there's people coming on yet.
- [00:11:58.350]Glennis McClure: So anyway So here we go, so I have I, this is the first screen that I see i've already got some accounts established.
- [00:12:07.590]Glennis McClure: And so you know we've got health messages and information throughout the program you see these little question marks.
- [00:12:16.050]Glennis McClure: That, if I clicked on that there's a there's an explanation for you and Elsa just our links here for you to view and work from to assisting creating your own enterprise budgets.
- [00:12:25.740]Glennis McClure: So when you see those question marks and that's you know some information and get and just in our entry page here with provided some overview.
- [00:12:33.900]Glennis McClure: Information so at farm w and l.edu backslash ABC again that website and i've got some tutorials up there.
- [00:12:42.360]Glennis McClure: and also some more general information if you want to look back at those things, I am going to probably be updating those tutorials because, as we go.
- [00:12:51.510]Glennis McClure: You know even our screen looks different are they just uploaded musty and so like this screen is different than what it was when I saw it yesterday so.
- [00:13:01.980]Glennis McClure: So it's an ongoing process but they're not changing drastically and whenever there are changes, those are changes for the good.
- [00:13:09.000]Glennis McClure: And so, again we have testers out there and we have people saying this doesn't look right, you know we'd love to know what issues that you're running across in the Program.
- [00:13:20.400]Glennis McClure: Okay, so I went ahead and log into one of my accounts i've got multiple accounts that i'm doing some testing with and that type of thing.
- [00:13:29.130]Glennis McClure: Okay, so I just entered in one of the first thing that pops up is manage enterprises, this is in the list of enterprises that i've already entered okay.
- [00:13:38.730]Glennis McClure: I have done multiple demonstrations, I did one for women in AG, and so I think that's why I have that title like that so on.
- [00:13:46.440]Glennis McClure: So I can look here and see where my 2021 budget, so if you have those I haven't I have a such I don't have enough points, I do have a 2020 right here, and when it says you NL behind it.
- [00:13:57.270]Glennis McClure: That means that the information that i've entered for our current budget and showing up there, and I could go in and.
- [00:14:04.650]Glennis McClure: His dad but that just labeling it so you know that it's university information that's in that particular budget for this time Okay, so this is a key page, you can notice here notice it's always important to look at your action items on the right side.
- [00:14:22.920]Glennis McClure: These are things I can do, from this point in time, I can create a new enterprise, I can do that just do something from scratch, I can take one of these and duplicate it so if I hit duplicate and i'll show you that right now.
- [00:14:37.050]Glennis McClure: Okay, so I hit duplicate and then I can go to this drop down, I can feel those budgets, I just saw.
- [00:14:44.400]Glennis McClure: In that last page, so I could say well yeah this self quarter is very similar to that East farm, so I could click on it Okay, and then I could go in and say corn he's fun.
- [00:14:59.490]Glennis McClure: All right, and I would click on.
- [00:15:03.600]Glennis McClure: Whatever I have in here for all the states in 2021 budget and I would say duplicate now let's take a look, this is the enterprise's successfully been copied to your account okay.
- [00:15:15.600]Glennis McClure: And so, so now it pops up and says okay now how many acres, this is what the the farm I just copied from this 153 acres well this farm actually is more like 140 acres and you know my yield.
- [00:15:33.090]Glennis McClure: You know, is usually better there so i'll change that 260 and it's dry land and it's the cash lead so guess what am I paying for Ashley on that particular farm one more like 65.
- [00:15:46.230]Glennis McClure: And until one so then So you can see how that i'm editing that enterprise i'm telling us more information about these are my keys continue to say yeah, this is a dry land.
- [00:15:59.400]Glennis McClure: You know, to know till farm I can describe it and how love are really helped me so you can name your enterprises, however, you want, you can just do an enterprise, you can just do a corn enterprises, you want versus.
- [00:16:14.400]Glennis McClure: A different field by field, or whatever you might want to do, however, you want to break that down okay so so that's that in over to the right again action item save the changes right, so it saves.
- [00:16:26.790]Glennis McClure: So now it says with this particular operation, I can get it operation, I can get your other expenses, I can generate revenue.
- [00:16:35.820]Glennis McClure: And I can do report okay so i'm going to go back because we kind of got sidetracked I showed you how to duplicate all right.
- [00:16:44.460]Glennis McClure: And so, but in this case i'm going to create a new i'm just going to start from scratch and not worry about any of this stuff okay.
- [00:16:52.530]Glennis McClure: And so i'm going to go ahead and put a new one in now there again we just saw screen that's very similar here and i'm going to work off of if you were on this, if you were in the program this morning oh OK.
- [00:17:05.310]Glennis McClure: OK added somebody else in so anyway, if you run the program this morning, I mentioned that were invented number 23 was copied for you in your material.
- [00:17:15.990]Glennis McClure: And so i'm just going to work off of that just so you have a reference to look back on or For those of you that might have that handy.
- [00:17:22.800]Glennis McClure: And i'm just going to go ahead and say it for number 23 and it happens to be a dry land know till then its rotation after being Okay, I could say this is on my.
- [00:17:37.590]Glennis McClure: On the southeast quarter okay all right, something like that, so I can identify it and However, I want to name it all right and i'm going to go ahead and say 2021 and we'll look and see what what's in that 2021 what do I have in there we'll take a look here in a minute.
- [00:17:55.830]Glennis McClure: Alright, so just simply kind of identifying so we know you know corey and we can you know the program content flawless corn crop together how many acres i'll say this as 155 acres and I produced about 155 bushel.
- [00:18:12.690]Glennis McClure: bushel stay with the yield with the unit is dry land i'll just keep this as its own.
- [00:18:19.920]Glennis McClure: For now, and so, when I do that this is for own ground this program calculates opportunity costs, based on the amount of cash rent used to charge it rented if you were not farming it.
- [00:18:32.160]Glennis McClure: Okay, so let's see yeah in my area drylands you know somewhere around $160 an acre right and so that's kind of my opportunity, so I wasn't farming it as the owner operators.
- [00:18:45.750]Glennis McClure: I could rent it out now would be sort of my opportunity cost of doing that right so real estate taxes trigger I really don't keep those in my brain as far as what that is great or some of you may.
- [00:18:57.000]Glennis McClure: that's great i'm just gonna say help me calculate that Okay, so if I know my assessed value which I really don't remember where you went home.
- [00:19:06.360]Glennis McClure: Actually i'm going to say i'm going to say it's like 40 $800 and then we're done here in southeast nebraska I must off the.
- [00:19:13.050]Glennis McClure: shelf yeah the actress and we have your beauty ground and Greenland we're primarily.
- [00:19:17.940]Glennis McClure: In the location where I am or free we're sitting pretty self we've got irrigation around us, but there's a lot of dry land right here to.
- [00:19:25.620]Glennis McClure: No real estate tax percent again, you may not know that you could you could look that up I know in our budget this year we use 1.25% and because.
- [00:19:36.690]Glennis McClure: they're supposed to be given us a credit back in nebraska on like a portion of what we pay for real estate taxes that goes to school.
- [00:19:45.360]Glennis McClure: funding, and so we dropped it from 1.352 1.25 but, again, that may not be obviously every I know different farms that we have.
- [00:19:55.440]Glennis McClure: Different school districts Those are all different, so you really need to kind of know where you're at with that I missed a calculate that and at 1400 dollars an acre 1.25%.
- [00:20:06.060]Glennis McClure: Real Estate tax and paying $60 per acre alright.
- [00:20:09.750]Glennis McClure: So i've got all of that entered and just always remember you know I don't think a lift to do much you just need to save I wouldn't want to cancel after putting all that in there, but i'm going to save that information.
- [00:20:20.550]Glennis McClure: Now it's just again we're doing this from scratch, welcome to the operations of your location right, so this is the process that we think works best for folks to.
- [00:20:31.740]Glennis McClure: To can think about the cost of production and how they go about that, and so you can see now we're in this ad operations area.
- [00:20:39.960]Glennis McClure: field operations i'm going to click on that and the first thing I do, the first thing that Budget Number 23 does is we've mentioned a couple times already, is that we're going to do a spray burn down.
- [00:20:53.820]Glennis McClure: server side you're going to put that on does that.
- [00:20:57.990]Glennis McClure: I can spell today we'll see all right, and I would probably try to do that well march timeframe or April, depending on what it is OK so i'm going to go ahead and say add details since i'm in here right and.
- [00:21:14.400]Glennis McClure: Until I got that operation names in the month and i'm going to do 100% of the acres now in this budget that actually didn't do 50% so that.
- [00:21:26.910]Glennis McClure: That you don't see that, very often, but it has that tables like that, so the cropping practice is really every other year with this herbicide down or or whatever so um so you got 100% I can stay here okay i'm going to have the the the opportunity to do it, so I can take co op spray.
- [00:21:49.860]Glennis McClure: burn down how much would it be you know per acre the unit of measure per acre and 100 and hundred.
- [00:22:00.180]Glennis McClure: And i'm not going to save them to cancel that in this point at this point because down the budget that we're working on looks i'm going to go ahead and check that So it goes away right so just to show you can put in custom work on any of your operation, let us know what those let.
- [00:22:15.300]Glennis McClure: The program with us anyway so Labor alright, so if we're doing field operations and we're not paying somebody else to do it, we really need to think of our time, all right and or are hired.
- [00:22:28.680]Glennis McClure: person time, so in this case there's no neighbors sign till the team there's a drop down so there's a number of folks here.
- [00:22:37.140]Glennis McClure: Because i've been tested, so in my account i've already entered into this account so university we figure $25 an hour so when you see those budgets you'll see that figure.
- [00:22:51.090]Glennis McClure: me if i'm the owner operator and i'm gonna i'm just going to select me and i'll show you what's in the background is that little bit later, but they do 100% of that work there, so i'll save that and then the power unit same thing, we will have university.
- [00:23:09.330]Glennis McClure: Housing units and implements marked as such and i'm just going to say here i'm going to use that all read tractor.
- [00:23:17.430]Glennis McClure: And we'll look at the details behind the old red tractor after bit here too.
- [00:23:21.630]Glennis McClure: And then implement i'm going to use i'm going to use a boom sprayer i'll use the university booms prayer i'm not sure how to do that now.
- [00:23:30.690]Glennis McClure: Now you won't have that in your account unless you've downloaded one of our budget.
- [00:23:36.030]Glennis McClure: Okay, and really what we want you to do is go in and set up your own equipment and when what and once again we'll look at the details with that and I just want to show you how this particular operation gets entered.
- [00:23:47.880]Glennis McClure: So we've worked down through i'm just going to go back up quick we've named it we've said here's the Labor here's who's doing this Okay, and behind the scenes there's value in what i'm doing as an owner operator I don't remember what that is look at it a little bit.
- [00:24:04.740]Glennis McClure: we've said this tractor this implement, and I could say, in some cases let's say it's trucking i'm not adding material, so you have to check here if no materials or inputs are you when I combine.
- [00:24:19.530]Glennis McClure: i'm not adding any materials at that point in time, so you need to check if there's no materials or inputs you okay generally as we go through these field operations, you are adding products So here we go.
- [00:24:33.690]Glennis McClure: So there again now there's a list of items in here because I have pulled down university information let's say I had.
- [00:24:41.520]Glennis McClure: I didn't have something in here I didn't have anything, and I wanted to add something new okay so let's say we're again we're starting from scratch and i'm going to the first thing was that life of state.
- [00:24:54.810]Glennis McClure: All right, and i'm just going to leave it at that there's more detail there but it's a service side.
- [00:25:00.180]Glennis McClure: And the price per unit on that we figured in our budgets anyway, for this last year $12 again, you want to know your costs, but that information in notice there's a little question marks.
- [00:25:11.820]Glennis McClure: So you can look up what you know what we're talking about so that's all I needed to do is say it was $12 a gallon okay so then it brings me back and says Okay, so now how much of that do you apply and our budget says 32 ounces.
- [00:25:27.510]Glennis McClure: So if we purchased by gallon.
- [00:25:31.290]Glennis McClure: We can say, we know that there's 128 ounces in a gallon you know there's so many pints in the gallery and other so many quarts so we've actually kind of worked out the unit of measure.
- [00:25:43.440]Glennis McClure: So that if you put in gallons you're going to see those units of measure if you put in some kind of think of another.
- [00:25:51.900]Glennis McClure: You put in town you don't want to revert that back to him says that kind of thing so so we've kind of done that, behind the scenes, for you, so it makes it nice so i've got one product and i'm going to save it.
- [00:26:03.390]Glennis McClure: And then there was two for D i'm just going to show you that in the list was the 240 Okay, and I apply one time.
- [00:26:14.550]Glennis McClure: And and i'm doing it is not 100% of the programs that 50% but i'm just doing 100% here and then there's one more item and that's an additive is 21 so it's already in my list so you can see if, once you have this information in on what you're.
- [00:26:31.440]Glennis McClure: You know what you paid for things.
- [00:26:34.950]Glennis McClure: You can just pull it back up again, which is really nice okay so that's 1.7 pounds in that case and i'm going to save it Okay, so now i've got those three products that that all that in there i'm going to save those details.
- [00:26:48.390]Glennis McClure: All right, so it says okay you got everything you got the details in So if I was missing the Labor I forgot I kind of ran over that didn't save it.
- [00:26:57.300]Glennis McClure: You would say add it would give me an error message and say you forgot something right i'm going to show you another operations, I mean add another operation, and that is, in this case is i'm going to just skip down to planting okay.
- [00:27:13.230]Glennis McClure: i'm going to plant, the corn all right and i'm hopefully going to do that in a growth you notice also here in this list.
- [00:27:23.190]Glennis McClure: We have it so that let's say we did some fertilizing back in the fall, we could go back and fix that we did that for legendary October of 2020 all right, and then we've got you know going forward for this year, all of the month for this year okay.
- [00:27:38.640]Glennis McClure: So we might run into issues once in a while let's say somebody did something back in July okay.
- [00:27:45.030]Glennis McClure: I would you know if it's not that big a deal to you if it's something that you did the prior year, I would just like to pray years month that kind of thing I did want to point that out to as well alright So here we are, in April we decided we're going to do that in a row.
- [00:28:01.230]Glennis McClure: And planted corn hundred percent against the Labor I do it i'm just gonna say me again and I do 100% of that I could say you know are hired me and Bob does.
- [00:28:13.860]Glennis McClure: Part of the plan to you, he does 50% 90% so again we're talking about this particular field and so chances are one person can do, but you never know you can split that out because.
- [00:28:26.010]Glennis McClure: Bob might be costing you more in cash and cash lever person, then we sort of with my non cash value, you know, so you can split that out, depending on what happens there and then the power unit.
- [00:28:39.600]Glennis McClure: Again i'm just going to use the old red and i'm going to use a planter hope with his planter here is again 50 university planter and then I need to go ahead and put in the seed and this corn seed see this one was like this again i've already entered that and I apply 21.
- [00:29:05.820]Glennis McClure: Casey.
- [00:29:08.520]Glennis McClure: All right, and hundred percent safe all right.
- [00:29:12.930]Glennis McClure: So, and I don't fit in that case, but see when I plant with that particular number three I actually do some fertilizing to, and so I do add some fertilizer some starter 1034 oh.
- [00:29:28.980]Glennis McClure: And six gallon.
- [00:29:32.670]Glennis McClure: Okay, and hundred percent there too alright so i'm going to do something here i'm going to go back here and get rid of this Labor okay.
- [00:29:43.140]Glennis McClure: Just like I forgot is skipped over that right Okay, and then everything else in a safety no okay it's going to say there's been a lot of stuff in there to see that this is what I was telling you just add that means that we don't it's not complete.
- [00:30:00.780]Glennis McClure: Okay, that the.
- [00:30:02.790]Glennis McClure: The field operation in this case is complete, so if I just click on that ad takes me back, and I look at what I forget oh yeah I forgot the Labor right here.
- [00:30:11.940]Glennis McClure: So i'm going to go ahead and add that back in save it save the details again and take a look so that operation says okay alright, so now.
- [00:30:21.990]Glennis McClure: doesn't seem too bad I can just keep going through and say this is how I grow up feel the Court right and again, some of my fields might be different, I may apply different chemicals, I may.
- [00:30:32.850]Glennis McClure: have different seed rates over things obviously your vacation devices to remember, there was a click there here edit details and if I said this wasn't your GDP.
- [00:30:46.770]Glennis McClure: And I said, save changes, what happens.
- [00:30:50.220]Glennis McClure: Now, when I go into edit operation.
- [00:30:55.140]Glennis McClure: Now it allows me to add my irrigation system, so I can add the irrigation system and if i've got those systems in there already that pivot.
- [00:31:03.270]Glennis McClure: You know, however, you want to name that pivot on the North quarter whatever i'm just going to show you here's the Ad irrigation system, so this is a pivot.
- [00:31:14.430]Glennis McClure: And you know you can name it, however, you want the north quarter and it covers and it's been five acres westfield my water sources of well now in there for folks throughout West.
- [00:31:29.820]Glennis McClure: But then we need the information about this irrigation system i'm adding this in new so it's asking me for a purchase price on the well like what with what did we pay for it back when what's.
- [00:31:43.260]Glennis McClure: Your maintenance costs and how many years we expecting so figure depreciation on that well same with.
- [00:31:51.510]Glennis McClure: Distribution to pivot itself, what was the purchase price was that in your repairs, how many years was there a salvage value to salvage dies, and they didn't say.
- [00:32:02.400]Glennis McClure: here's a salvage value right pump same way we're getting going through this pairing so once you have that information in.
- [00:32:10.500]Glennis McClure: it's going to be able to calculate for you what those costs are, as you.
- [00:32:16.170]Glennis McClure: As you run your business and then there may be some other annual expenses so just answering that set of questions helps get that irrigation information in similar to pair unit.
- [00:32:27.420]Glennis McClure: Implement i'm just going to cancel out of that and not put in an irrigation system at this point in time right so i'm going to show you some other things.
- [00:32:36.030]Glennis McClure: So we know what any details are we know how to add an operation all this just look there's other expenses to so if there's something that's not necessarily necessarily tied to a field operation.
- [00:32:49.470]Glennis McClure: So, like the crop insurance yeah if I pay so much per acre you know I will make sure that no that's part of my costs, so I will put that in if I do take profit scouting.
- [00:32:59.490]Glennis McClure: prop marketing if I know what that is, you have to hear this has helped me calculate marketing per bushel so let's say you know I.
- [00:33:09.510]Glennis McClure: If I don't if I don't know what it is per bushel and let's say you spend $1,000.
- [00:33:14.460]Glennis McClure: And you figure, it will figure than four cents a bushel on this particular field of corn Okay, so you can you can have it do some calculations for you, if you aren't certain know what that would be on a professional basis.
- [00:33:28.560]Glennis McClure: drop drying up storage and anything other This is like a just a catch all for other direct expenses that you haven't found a place to put them in for this particular product on enterprise that's just the other expenses i'm gonna I didn't really put much and i'll just sit like.
- [00:33:49.050]Glennis McClure: You know $10 an acre there and.
- [00:33:53.490]Glennis McClure: $7 on scouting i'm seeing those changes, so we have a couple pieces in there.
- [00:33:58.620]Glennis McClure: Alright, so now here, what else okay edit details and operations, if I wanted to add more operation, I could go ahead and put some revenue in and i'm going to click on that right now to.
- [00:34:08.790]Glennis McClure: And now we have 155 push oh man, we added that in when we started and let's say this year oh guys let's say this year we're going to have some well let's hope it's more of it let's say for 50 for corn.
- [00:34:23.850]Glennis McClure: By the time we get everything so for the Year of his new production year resident maybe you rent out some of your stuff you know that's so much an acre know what is that might be $10 an acre and I do that, year after year, so i'm pretty sure that's gonna be okay other income.
- [00:34:43.110]Glennis McClure: Well, I don't know what my government team is going to be any to the prices are good yields are good i'm you know i'm probably that has it just additional government payments to share.
- [00:34:52.140]Glennis McClure: Crop insurance again we don't know unless there's a disaster websites with that's going to be so we've had it we added those features in there and he's at the end of year you wanted to come back and update sale yeah.
- [00:35:03.810]Glennis McClure: And all my core and this is what I have this is what I received in government team that you could do that kind of thing kind of look to look back at what this 2020 year budget with this.
- [00:35:17.820]Glennis McClure: Without to be okay.
- [00:35:21.090]Glennis McClure: So I i'm looking at this, because i'm thinking of picking this up right now so might have to check on what's going on with that i'm going to save that revenue data.
- [00:35:32.850]Glennis McClure: That might be one of the quirks that we just found in the program may not be adding in that front residue that okay so but we'll get that fits all right um so here's those action items.
- [00:35:46.290]Glennis McClure: I keep going now can manage your phrases, we know i'm going to go back you know what that looks like that's that list, and we, this is what we were just entering.
- [00:35:55.680]Glennis McClure: The corn number 23 2021 budget I can edit it there's a little icon here, I can edit the enterprise, I can work on field operations, I can view reports or I can actually just get relevant I can clean, some of these up to their caffeine types of things, so all right.
- [00:36:14.730]Glennis McClure: Now i'm not i'm not interested, at this point and duplicating anything i'm going to show you what happens when we look at the university budget.
- [00:36:21.990]Glennis McClure: You know what this is the same thing manage enterprises enterprises now magnesium foot there's many inputs, I also want to show you right now that.
- [00:36:32.400]Glennis McClure: You know our action items you're here there's also as most programs, do you got these little buttons across the top.
- [00:36:38.640]Glennis McClure: will eventually have that full farm feature in here will eventually have a livestock component so we'll have you know again.
- [00:36:46.170]Glennis McClure: So manage enterprises, I can create or I can duplicate just as we've seen manage inputs same thing as we see over here manager.
- [00:36:55.380]Glennis McClure: Okay i'll just show you here here's the drop down, I can look at what, in your rates, I have in there, like what is my fuel costs, what are my interest rates that i'm projecting for the year.
- [00:37:07.620]Glennis McClure: we'll look at that here's all the parents, you know we've seen that drop down list of power units you've seen that list of implement.
- [00:37:14.970]Glennis McClure: Okay, I could go in and look at the details behind that will look at that in a minute, the list of materials we've seen that list and materials pop up this is where I would want to go in, say.
- [00:37:25.170]Glennis McClure: I can edit you know if I have this list of materials for 2021 and I know that these prices are changing for 2022 I could just go right to that list and make some changes for 2022 as i'm ready for that.
- [00:37:39.180]Glennis McClure: Labor again the details behind Labor and the details behind my irrigation system, this is where you'll find all of that information so let's look at that very quickly.
- [00:37:48.690]Glennis McClure: can actually feel free to interrupt me if you have any questions if i'm going too fast or you've missed something, let me know because if you have a question chances are someone else has a question again we have a small group, and I think it's fine to.
- [00:38:03.570]Glennis McClure: Find to ask question.
- [00:38:06.870]Glennis McClure: So here's a yearly race in prices chances are you're going to have really one okay now you're probably have a 2021 i've got multiple because just my testing okay.
- [00:38:18.990]Glennis McClure: I still got the 2020 university things in there, but anyway you'll have this one, probably so let's look and see what's in there, OK.
- [00:38:25.980]Glennis McClure: 2021 so it may be pre populated new POPs when you pop up and you want to do it, maybe.
- [00:38:32.940]Glennis McClure: It may be pre populated from our information that's in the system, so you can certainly go in and change it, however, you want.
- [00:38:40.710]Glennis McClure: This is just one I had interviewed, for I said gasoline well kind of going up now again but let's say.
- [00:38:47.430]Glennis McClure: Average for this year on my gasoline usage I let me figure about $2 and 10 cents visa was quite a quite a bit lower might be figuring down to average has changed a little bit.
- [00:38:59.460]Glennis McClure: If I use propane If not, I wouldn't worry about it too much you know if you don't really use any of that same with electricity, we have those rates in there, and you obviously can change those.
- [00:39:10.260]Glennis McClure: Electric irrigation system it's important to have that information, but if you're never using electricity in your budget I wouldn't worry about really what's their.
- [00:39:20.490]Glennis McClure: Interest rates so let's say I borrow for a period of time to plant my crops and wait for them to grow and then.
- [00:39:29.130]Glennis McClure: pay off the bank when I sell so my interest rates, you know for this year, maybe five 550 on operating long and I carry that loan generally for about six months so again, you can change that lesson you carry it for nine months, whatever it might be.
- [00:39:44.220]Glennis McClure: The opportunity investment i'm rate that is what we use to say okay well if I didn't have all my machinery I didn't have my land, if I am my machinery and I sold it.
- [00:39:56.460]Glennis McClure: load the opportunity, what can I put you know what could it where can I invest it and what kind of return what I have so we've been using in our bed like 3% you can decide Oh, you know I know I can.
- [00:40:07.650]Glennis McClure: i've got a source, where I can put it on money for 4% that's really your opportunity if you don't have if you don't have it tied up in farming and then that investment, then what would you do if you saw and paste it.
- [00:40:20.340]Glennis McClure: somewhere else that's really what that is and there's a little help messages message here that tells you a little bit more about that.
- [00:40:26.250]Glennis McClure: Okay, if you ever get stuck take a look at those and then again there again if if you see something that like that didn't help you know, maybe you should have said it this way we'd love to hear your input on i'm making some changes so that's our yearly rates and pricing.
- [00:40:45.660]Glennis McClure: All right now i'm gonna Okay, you can see, this little thing i'm going to click that kind of I can shut it okay i'm going to open up the power units so here's the power unit they had number we've used this over a tractor what's behind that what's in that okay this thing.
- [00:41:05.850]Glennis McClure: Okay.
- [00:41:08.340]Glennis McClure: want to show me that's great let's.
- [00:41:11.940]Glennis McClure: see if I can get through it again.
- [00:41:14.910]Glennis McClure: All right, maybe there's nothing there.
- [00:41:20.730]Glennis McClure: Okay.
- [00:41:22.350]Glennis McClure: let's see if I could get any of those to open might have an issue.
- [00:41:27.870]Glennis McClure: Like you said there was just an update that was entered.
- [00:41:32.130]Glennis McClure: Okay, this one's opening up for some reason i'm not sure why old red isn't so have to see what's going on with that I should be making notes of these things that we see.
- [00:41:40.680]Glennis McClure: Say hey you know, this is not happening i'm going to put open carrying him let our program, we know that already has an issue.
- [00:41:51.180]Glennis McClure: Okay alright, so this happens to be from the University budget.
- [00:41:55.830]Glennis McClure: And changes meeting this section will be applied to all badges so you know if i've been working along and I said this, these are the facts behind this large tractor.
- [00:42:05.460]Glennis McClure: And I believe in and change it got to keep in mind that some of these things once you change and let's say I change that price of that glyphosate.
- [00:42:12.990]Glennis McClure: By changing in this list of materials and input it's going to affect all my budget alright, so the chances are, if I have multiple estate license life to say purchase one license a purchase to you know I can have I can designate things that way that if I change something with this.
- [00:42:32.550]Glennis McClure: With this tractor or one of the implements or something is going to have an effect on how we're that's used throughout the program so this happens to be a large tractor with the to.
- [00:42:45.120]Glennis McClure: purchase price.
- [00:42:47.580]Glennis McClure: Hold was it when you bought it diesel gas is you know coming out so you're like well why is, why do we need this pto, why do we need to know why do we need a list price okay for comparable tractor.
- [00:43:02.520]Glennis McClure: perspective now again you're going to see this is kind of funny we spotted 10 years old and really going to use it for years again you're going to see that, with our university budgets, just to get our.
- [00:43:13.380]Glennis McClure: Information in for like one year depreciation let's say this case i'm going to keep it five years, I could easily change that and then how many hours to use it with the tax okay how how.
- [00:43:26.340]Glennis McClure: You know how much has been used already right in the background, we have engineering formulas that are calculating this information okay so.
- [00:43:37.800]Glennis McClure: And we this long calculations and there's factors that association of ag engineers provide so we use their equation, to help calculates of these things, so in this case.
- [00:43:51.060]Glennis McClure: This large tractor given this age, and so I know that looks a little strange to that average annual cost of repairs might be too low.
- [00:43:59.400]Glennis McClure: You may say no that's a plus me no more I can click and hinder my own repair device, so I could change that say you know, on average, you know i'm spending $3,000 a year on that on that unit okay.
- [00:44:14.100]Glennis McClure: salvage value is figures for depreciation purposes and that again comes out those calculations.
- [00:44:20.790]Glennis McClure: So let's say you know that that thing's gonna be worth more or less, or whatever you could change that and then it will figure that appreciation differently, I can enter my own tool rate.
- [00:44:30.180]Glennis McClure: How, in here, this is kind of a general thing because that's your rates going to change depending on your operation, but again for that size unit.
- [00:44:40.740]Glennis McClure: You know, we are figuring a fuel us per hour, and it may differ from what you anticipate or do what you think your scores as an average.
- [00:44:50.850]Glennis McClure: For fuel costs on that so so that's kind of what the power units are kind of interesting as a lot of good information, but again once I enter information for that large tractor is there and I I use that large tracts of like all the time.
- [00:45:05.130]Glennis McClure: The information there and I don't have to keep entering it over and over again.
- [00:45:09.900]Glennis McClure: So i'm going to.
- [00:45:12.780]Glennis McClure: Save that in the sales i'm going to click on this to shrink that back up in my list of implement I could do the same kind of things are going to make changes take a look at what the details are behind those.
- [00:45:27.240]Glennis McClure: materials and services again like I said there's a final list because, again we pulled information from you received budget.
- [00:45:34.710]Glennis McClure: But again, as you get started, if you're doing this from scratch, you know you're going to build that list on your own.
- [00:45:40.500]Glennis McClure: Right, so it wouldn't be as extensive at this point in time until you got a lot more.
- [00:45:45.900]Glennis McClure: done so i'm gonna keep going and then here's that Labor I really want to show you the Labor number I use this me hear me is the owner operator and here's my hired me and Bob dead helps us on the farm, I put some value in on him i've been working with the landlord.
- [00:46:03.660]Glennis McClure: flashing them are a lot of cases, you know, really.
- [00:46:06.960]Glennis McClure: Well it's hard to say we kind of value for them, but.
- [00:46:09.720]Glennis McClure: Remember that operation thing asked for Labor so let's say i'm not doing the field work as a landlord you know, so I really don't need to have there's no charge, so I think I put landlord you wrote in there no zero cost.
- [00:46:22.830]Glennis McClure: Because you're not doing that work so anyway that's kind of why that's there but here's me i'm the owner, I am paying i'm paid hourly and I figured like a $25 rate 2000.
- [00:46:38.430]Glennis McClure: hours per year, I can go ahead and put my own tax information in I didn't in this case, but I just put it in a zero.
- [00:46:45.810]Glennis McClure: And I have non cash sentence, you know I I use a cell phone there's some other things that you know I used to pick up that kind of stuff for some personal things so there's some non cash benefits or there's value there.
- [00:46:57.690]Glennis McClure: So that's what that's what I put behind that I could say, well, this is a family member, there are unpaid or I could be on a salary my value could be a lot less than $25 you know.
- [00:47:11.850]Glennis McClure: How many hours, so we kind of want to see this is kind of nice but we're hoping to put together reports that you have a number of times people, you can see.
- [00:47:21.000]Glennis McClure: What is your total after you do all these fields operations and they're doing a lot of work, what is the total time generated.
- [00:47:28.860]Glennis McClure: For different individuals that work for work for you and so.
- [00:47:33.660]Glennis McClure: You know, we know that there's sophisticated operations that have a lot going on and and we're trying to get some reports so folks can see whether.
- [00:47:41.550]Glennis McClure: Their employment is in line they've got enough people do all the work we're not you know how that can be so anyway so that's the Labor.
- [00:47:50.190]Glennis McClure: and see i've got these things open remember I can close those kind of clean that up and then the irrigation systems, I can see the irrigation systems that I have to choose from.
- [00:47:59.520]Glennis McClure: Or, I can enter so like right here is over here, I could add a new navigation system if I click on Labor back here again I could add a new.
- [00:48:08.010]Glennis McClure: person right here like if you go in and work with these lists, I could add a new power unit alright so again the action items on the Right or something to pay attention to right so um that's all really good information any gems but.
- [00:48:23.760]Glennis McClure: So um let's go back with me.
- [00:48:29.640]Glennis McClure: When I go from here, I do a lot with many enterprises a lot you're managing appraises here, I can just click on that here is.
- [00:48:41.790]Glennis McClure: All the budgets i've worked with we were working on this point number 23 budget.
- [00:48:46.620]Glennis McClure: I don't need to edit I know what I named it all that's there, I do have more operations to add but i'm not going to take time to do that, right now, with you.
- [00:48:55.920]Glennis McClure: How you could do that i'm not going to delete it, but I am going to look at reports i'm going to click on that report okay teacher.
- [00:49:04.740]Glennis McClure: And yes, we enter this revenue and i've got to check because it didn't flow over the stocks that I entered did not slow over so I do need to make sure our programmer knows and we're missing something there shouldn't be a hard fix it all.
- [00:49:20.820]Glennis McClure: It all it is right here so we're good I love that well it did capital i'm sorry yes.
- [00:49:28.170]Glennis McClure: So interesting I sell it for 50 per bushel and here's the $10 for the added revenue which figures out to be for 50 cents if i'm gonna look.
- [00:49:36.300]Glennis McClure: foolish obese is interesting right Okay, so it calculates the hundred 65 mercial yield per acre so on an equal basis, take this total divided by 125 and should get.
- [00:49:49.950]Glennis McClure: right to know I don't have all my operating costs in here right now, but you can see, I can look at the list I say oh here's this here's what I.
- [00:49:59.100]Glennis McClure: here's the cost of the seed and what that was here's the fertilizer I have entered so far, so these little.
- [00:50:06.930]Glennis McClure: tabs over here can you are just drop down boxes I didn't do anything with custom so there's nothing there.
- [00:50:12.630]Glennis McClure: Okay that's nice yeah Those are some extra features that he's added here other so here's some other expenses i've added in from insurance and so on, so I can open all these boxes for right now, our printing features are.
- [00:50:27.900]Glennis McClure: There Okay, I mean that's something we're going to make a lot of improvements on that if I wanted to print what I had right now, I would just do a right click and I would do my friends.
- [00:50:40.020]Glennis McClure: Okay, so my printer comes up, I can see kind of what that report looks like to be going along okay i'm hoping to have those reports against more I could actually go ahead and.
- [00:50:54.210]Glennis McClure: You know printed on my preacher or I could save it as a PDF file you how that works and then have that PDF look back on if I wanted to, however, you want to do that, so I just wanted to show you that feature that you can print the studio right click and do a print there.
- [00:51:13.050]Glennis McClure: So so let's look here if you've got that foreign Budget Number well I know i'm going to i'm going to do Ministry of the university budget that we look at this cash because we don't have everything in there yet.
- [00:51:24.510]Glennis McClure: and also the total of five, and you can see the breakdown so here we've got.
- [00:51:30.630]Glennis McClure: The revenue, the operating costs, all those those input costs.
- [00:51:37.020]Glennis McClure: got cash overhead section.
- [00:51:41.190]Glennis McClure: Those are the cash overhead types of things cash rent would be included if you're a cash rents operator.
- [00:51:48.660]Glennis McClure: And then non cash overhead debbie your depreciation, so you picked up some equipment depreciation here and opportunity customer that 3% was in there is was the value of my investments and that's a non cash positive should be included and then land opportunity, so in my case, as an owner.
- [00:52:09.390]Glennis McClure: operator I own my land, so I have this opportunity cost of my land that we figured in Okay, which was the same as a cash register if I was.
- [00:52:19.500]Glennis McClure: going to rent it out, instead of operating unit.
- [00:52:22.470]Glennis McClure: So total cash and then it shows the total nancy's point in time, we again we don't have all the expenses again.
- [00:52:29.610]Glennis McClure: So, then, I look at that report, I do a lot with this field operations report i'll sit on that you can see, as you build that field operations and all the inner all those things in.
- [00:52:41.250]Glennis McClure: This is really nice I really liked it because, on the spray burn down, I can see my Labor my fuel per acre repairs appreciation opportunity costs right there's a breakdown here.
- [00:52:53.700]Glennis McClure: The tractor.
- [00:52:55.920]Glennis McClure: Labor and the fuel obviously gets charged to the tractor boom sprayer has repairs appreciation opportunity size, so the operation Labor basically the entire unit is we're running the power unit Okay, and then planting and you can see how that works out I look at that.
- [00:53:13.980]Glennis McClure: That report a lot, because as we're entering and we just finished entering all our 2021 budget and I look back to compare.
- [00:53:23.460]Glennis McClure: If what we're entering or how this program is calculating is similar to what we thought in our budget and see how far off those are now.
- [00:53:32.640]Glennis McClure: The budgets that we have located in ABC program near what we have in our crop lodge and digest right now with some exceptions there's some calculation differences but not, you might be.
- [00:53:50.460]Glennis McClure: two to five cents off per bushel in like hundred ways, you might be a little bit further off occasionally so we're looking to make sure that those things are fairly close and so.
- [00:54:00.960]Glennis McClure: You know, again, what we have in here as a guide for you to work from and then the materials and service report, I really liked it too I could just say okay now show me for what i'm doing that flooring.
- [00:54:13.350]Glennis McClure: Production What if were to my inputs and what are the services i'm paying for sure there's a list so far, we just have the herbicide in for burn down and we've got to CD and for planting corn so on so there'll be a nice long list, and if I wanted to print out, let me just look here.
- [00:54:30.270]Glennis McClure: um I don't.
- [00:54:33.210]Glennis McClure: Okay, that is something I yeah I, you mentioned the JEREMY there's an issue there, so we will need to know that print that report is still an issue.
- [00:54:44.280]Glennis McClure: Okay, well, we can we saw where we could print.
- [00:54:47.850]Glennis McClure: This report, and if I opened up the details so here again there's pesticides fertilizers i'm going to look here if I click print.
- [00:54:57.810]Glennis McClure: Are those details showing up, so I think we've got to set that report itself that smaller report is not not.
- [00:55:07.380]Glennis McClure: Not looking right as far as print right now again so that was something I saw about a week or so ago and it didn't get didn't get fixed yet so all right um.
- [00:55:16.320]Glennis McClure: So one other thing I really want to share with you now is we're getting close to the end i'll go back to.
- [00:55:24.300]Glennis McClure: Remember, I go back to manage enterprises all time this is kind of my homepage you know I want to see what i've got in there, so far okay so let's say.
- [00:55:33.210]Glennis McClure: I rather than go through the whole you know I created this scratch and i've only got a couple operations in so far this quarter number 23 What if I wanted to see what happens.
- [00:55:46.380]Glennis McClure: i'm going to click on the university Budget Number I bet this point, I can do, I can create new you take right and look at university budgets i'll click right here.
- [00:55:56.850]Glennis McClure: So you'll see we have 83 budgets for 2021 you'll see those budgets here.
- [00:56:04.200]Glennis McClure: there's there an alphabetical order.
- [00:56:07.410]Glennis McClure: And we've got the numbers, so these numbers match up to what how we number and how we need things in our current budget so here's that Point number 23 I can view the report let's do that.
- [00:56:21.180]Glennis McClure: We just looked at our small report now so far we don't put revenues in our position, yet I could I could go in and well right now I can't until I dislocated over, but I don't have revenue in.
- [00:56:34.350]Glennis McClure: And i've got i've got here, you can see all the details of what we thought in is quite a list of pesticides, no longer see okay.
- [00:56:44.220]Glennis McClure: And the cash costs $2 and 30 cents per bushel and the copy that I have, and I think i've got enough i've got some lucky lucky that is the only about two cents off from what's the what's the version is online problem so we're a little bit off my two cents there.
- [00:57:03.360]Glennis McClure: And a couple cents off on total, but you can see that all the information that's in our current budget pretty much is in in the ABC program so we looked at that report i'm going to.
- [00:57:18.900]Glennis McClure: Let me go back and see what I can do I think i've gotta go back.
- [00:57:24.540]Glennis McClure: Go back to sleep I just find that budget again 23 so the report.
- [00:57:33.360]Glennis McClure: I.
- [00:57:36.420]Glennis McClure: Looked at the report and here is this copy feature kind of hover over it, I see copy so i'm going to copy it.
- [00:57:46.140]Glennis McClure: And click copy this enterprises been successfully copy to my account, so I had to do okay.
- [00:57:54.750]Glennis McClure: All right now, it comes up and it says here's that information is corn Budget Number 23.
- [00:58:01.410]Glennis McClure: is now in your accounting team number, I said just got this university tag on it now, so now, I know that the rates, the prices use, for that is coming off of our university information.
- [00:58:11.850]Glennis McClure: I could go in and say now, I will switch that to what I put in see I just updated that so rather than 2021 in and out they switched it to 2021 which was.
- [00:58:23.040]Glennis McClure: That information we put him on looked at managing a project manager input Okay, and so we put in number of acres planted 155.
- [00:58:34.230]Glennis McClure: Plus, what we have number, I said know, ours is like 155 yield so switch that.
- [00:58:40.530]Glennis McClure: So just tell me that that was the same number of acres making changes non irrigated own here's that cash equivalent for what our university budgets for showing them a switch that to.
- [00:58:51.960]Glennis McClure: switch that to $160 an acre number, I think we had $60 and they're about as real estate tax, so I could update that and I could go here and you're saying.
- [00:59:04.650]Glennis McClure: here's corn Budget Number 23 run in i'm going to say now, this is my own No, this is on the reporter was that out se order something like that right.
- [00:59:16.890]Glennis McClure: And I could I could change any details if I didn't like them there, so I downloaded that budget and now it's in my system, so I could go in now let's look now all of those operations are there.
- [00:59:32.820]Glennis McClure: But maybe I don't maybe I don't have them Brady and second side I don't have that done, I did it myself, I could go in and make edits on that I can uncheck it and put something else in there right i'll leave it for now.
- [00:59:52.620]Glennis McClure: Now that's interesting to some noise drinker but for some reason i'm spraying spraying pesticides insecticide number six.
- [01:00:03.510]Glennis McClure: should have brigade in there, so so you know you'd want to double check and say okay yeah, this is what i'm paying for them to spray but I need to have this game as a church.
- [01:00:17.070]Glennis McClure: And it will tell me that and our budgets like 10% they don't spray the whole field, they do it every so often kind of thing it's like know, on occasion, I have to do this right it's 5.12 ounces.
- [01:00:31.380]Glennis McClure: So all right, so I noticed okay now for some reason it's in a place we don't want that I don't know why that didn't work and also missing that should have been in there, I didn't just didn't eat it i'm not sure why that was interesting, but we know we're okay now I can look and see that.
- [01:00:51.450]Glennis McClure: Pretty close to the prices that I have so on so i'm going to save that detail.
- [01:00:56.580]Glennis McClure: And Sony me I looked I would look down through each of the operations and add an operation or delete an operation make changes on the product that's what you can do I downloading one of our budget other expenses going to make changes yeah $29 in profit juices dry lands and yeah.
- [01:01:20.610]Glennis McClure: They were driving cars included, and so on, from our budget, you may or may not have those you know, because you can make those changes.
- [01:01:27.900]Glennis McClure: As you tell them that operation and revenue Okay, so we didn't have revenue number 55 bushnell here i'm going to say no it's for 50.
- [01:01:38.160]Glennis McClure: And I was fearing.
- [01:01:41.130]Glennis McClure: residue income, and I wish this change i'm going to have to ask them about that, why would that change all right um so I saved that and I really looked at all these nine look at the report again.
- [01:01:58.530]Glennis McClure: And so, now I got a budget that I can see well call my own is advantage and make make some edits.
- [01:02:06.030]Glennis McClure: That are what I want, and so, then you can take a look at what your costs are proportional cash and portal, and you know how good you can look at the details behind this is another, this is another.
- [01:02:22.260]Glennis McClure: drop down for a reason to the different operations and the materials related to those operation costs associated with those Okay, it is also read this is kind of a new feature.
- [01:02:35.730]Glennis McClure: where you can click here, and it goes back and look to see how that works, but it goes back to like if I wanted to make some edits into that planting.
- [01:02:46.140]Glennis McClure: operation, so the red kind of means that it's linked to something else, so that, rather than going clear back if I went to change the Foster some information so back to music.
- [01:02:57.150]Glennis McClure: manage input to manage an appraisal and try to find it This just shows me where does that come from and if I went in to make some changes on that I can do it right here.
- [01:03:06.900]Glennis McClure: So i'm just going to cancel it making changes yeah back to the report okay so it's really you know just looking at where you can do over here, this is a reports area.
- [01:03:18.180]Glennis McClure: This is an action area, so I can always go back and look at my age enterprises look at where i'm at with things and like say eventually we'll have some new features added So what do you think Christian thought the point in time.
- [01:03:40.800]Glennis McClure: You better.
- [01:03:51.330]Glennis McClure: Look, the chat.
