Howard L. Hawks Hall is a state-of-the-art facility that's home to endless opportunities. This tour will highlight the classrooms, study space, office and academic units so you can see how it's a space to inspire, collaborate and innovate.

[00:00:11.680]Howard L. Hawks Hall, named in honor
[00:00:13.800]of the Omaha businessman, philanthropist,
[00:00:16.210]and University of Nebraska regent,
[00:00:18.230]serves as a space to inspire, collaborate,
[00:00:21.010]innovate, and congregate.
[00:00:22.520]As you arrive within the building's west entrance,
[00:00:25.160]you first discover our welcome center.
[00:00:27.490]It's a bright, inviting area where most of our interactions
[00:00:30.530]with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors begin.
[00:00:36.230]On the lower level and the first and second floors
[00:00:38.770]there are several high-tech classrooms designed
[00:00:41.270]for hands-on learning.
[00:00:42.910]Among these classrooms, the academy classroom,

[00:00:50.130]This 50-seat cluster style classroom
[00:00:52.370]promotes group discussion and a collaborative environment.
[00:00:55.690]Nearly all of your academy core and foundational coursework

[00:02:34.360]This means that during your first semester of college,
[00:02:37.360]you will identify your strengths
[00:02:38.850]through the Clifton Strengths Assessment
[00:02:40.690]and receive two one-on-one coaching sessions
[00:02:43.760]that will help you achieve academic, personal,

[00:02:48.730]The institute also selects first-year students

[00:02:53.890]to participate in the Clifton Builders Program,
