- [00:00:19.760]The easiest way to start your Zoom meeting is to go ahead
- [00:00:22.890]and click on the link that is provided.
- [00:00:27.940]If you have never used Zoom before,

- [00:00:33.060]Down here you'll see this link that says Download Now.
- [00:00:37.780]Depending on the download speed of your computer,
- [00:00:40.820]downloading may take several minutes.
- [00:00:43.860]Your event may require a meeting passcode.
- [00:00:46.720]This passcode should be on your invite email.
- [00:00:51.020]When you enter a Zoom Room,
- [00:00:52.420]you may encounter a screen like this
- [00:00:54.360]that indicates that you're in the meeting,
- [00:00:56.510]but the meeting hasn't started yet,
- [00:00:58.220]we call this a Waiting Room.
- [00:00:59.989]Just hold on, the host will start the meeting soon.
- [00:01:04.120]After Zoom has installed, it will go ahead
- [00:01:06.710]and launch your meeting.
- [00:01:08.967]Go ahead and click Join with Computer Audio.
- [00:01:14.524]Once you have entered the Zoom Room meeting,
- [00:01:16.800]there are several options at the bottom of your screen.
- [00:01:19.810]First, on the very far left-hand side,
- [00:01:22.780]there's the ability to mute and unmute yourself.
- [00:01:25.760]You can also start and stop your video.
- [00:01:29.521]You can also see that there are other options.
- [00:01:32.330]The Chat feature is very important
- [00:01:34.410]if you want to ask a question, or if you want to chat
- [00:01:38.790]with somebody privately.
- [00:01:41.680]When you enter a meeting,
- [00:01:42.950]you will see the presenters slideshow.
- [00:01:45.390]Up here on the top right,
- [00:01:46.810]you can also change how we're viewing the screen.
- [00:01:49.410]You can see a speaker view,
- [00:01:50.830]where the speaker is on the right-hand side,
- [00:01:54.950]or you can see a gallery view,
- [00:01:56.830]where you can see all of the participants
- [00:01:59.470]in the Zoom meeting.
- [00:02:02.380]One feature that may come up is the presenter
- [00:02:04.950]may also ask you a question.
- [00:02:07.140]They will launch a poll that looks similar to this
- [00:02:10.210]and they will allow you to select
- [00:02:11.720]what option you would like.
- [00:02:15.480]You may be invited by the host to join a Breakout Room.
- [00:02:19.350]This is your opportunity to interact
- [00:02:21.480]with other participants.
- [00:02:23.060]When you are prompted, go ahead and click Join,
- [00:02:26.300]and you can see that you are now in the Breakout Room.
- [00:02:29.430]When you are done with your Breakout Room conversation,
- [00:02:32.410]on the bottom left-hand side, it says Leave Room.
- [00:02:36.150]And you can either leave the meeting entirely
- [00:02:38.680]or just leave the Breakout Room.
- [00:02:41.180]Once you have returned to the main meeting room,
- [00:02:43.760]you will now see that you'll have Breakout Rooms
- [00:02:46.030]at the bottom of your screen.
- [00:02:47.750]If you accidentally returned here, you can,
- [00:02:50.500]click on that Breakout Room,
- [00:02:51.840]and again, rejoin the Breakout Room.
- [00:02:55.040]If you need to leave the meeting,
- [00:02:56.430]you can do so using a button
- [00:02:58.270]on the bottom right of your screen.
- [00:03:01.520]We hope that this tutorial gives you a good idea
- [00:03:04.210]of how to use Zoom for your upcoming event.
