[00:00:00.810]Hello, in this video,
[00:00:01.890]we will be going over TrueYou.
[00:00:05.360]Once a student applies to the University,
[00:00:07.660]they will receive an email with their NUID.
[00:00:10.720]They will also receive some information
[00:00:12.870]on TrueYou and also their MyRED.
[00:00:16.210]In order for students to log in to their MyRED,
[00:00:18.980]they first need to claim their identity through TrueYou.
[00:00:23.250]Once they press on this tab, the student will need
[00:00:25.430]to answer some various personal questions
[00:00:27.730]and set up a password.
[00:00:29.740]The student will then have to enroll in Two-Factor,
[00:00:32.210]which is a double verification system,
[00:00:34.460]in order to log in to their accounts.
[00:00:37.580]It's important to enroll in Two-Factor
[00:00:39.430]as when students log in to MyRED,
[00:00:41.440]this is holding a lot of personal information,
[00:00:43.730]including financial aid
[00:00:45.380]and also even some of their own credit card information.
[00:00:50.170]Once a student has claimed their ID
[00:00:52.400]and also has enrolled in Two-Factor,
[00:00:54.650]the student should be able to, in the next 24 hours,
[00:00:57.650]to log in to their MyRED using the password
[00:01:00.510]that they created and then also the NUID
[00:01:03.480]that they received via email.
