[00:00:06.250]for enrollment via the MyRed student portal.
[00:00:10.420]We also will show a few helpful areas
[00:00:13.280]on where students are also able to check
[00:00:15.450]their application status and also upload
[00:00:18.950]some necessary transcript documents.
[00:00:22.690]So this is the home page for the MyRed student portal.
[00:00:26.170]And this is what you'll see after you log in.
[00:00:29.890]If you want to complete your next steps
[00:00:31.440]for enrollment or check your admission status,
[00:00:33.810]you will do so by selecting admissions and undergraduate.
[00:00:40.870]This is the screen that comes up.
[00:00:43.010]So as you can see, you can see step one
[00:00:45.792]and as this is not an active student portal,
[00:00:49.298]there would be an option that said application status
[00:00:53.290]which a student would be able to select
[00:00:55.430]in order to see their admission status
[00:00:58.140]and also they could pay their application fee
[00:01:02.530]if they had not done so when they submitted
[00:01:04.580]their application and they would also be able
[00:01:07.030]to upload transcript documents.
[00:01:09.746]Then you're able to see that students are able
[00:01:12.450]to pay their enrollment deposit
[00:01:14.180]or to complete the enrollment deposit deferral form.
[00:01:18.760]By paying the enrollment deposit,
[00:01:20.400]a student is securing their spot here at Nebraska,
[00:01:23.870]and this is a $250 fee, but it can be deferred
[00:01:27.331]if the student found out that they were Pell eligible
[00:01:30.170]through the FAFSA, qualified for free or reduced lunch,
[00:01:33.195]or are a military veteran or dependent.
[00:01:37.410]So those are the steps that students can complete
[00:01:40.880]in order to open up their next steps for enrollment,
[00:01:44.090]which would include
[00:01:45.020]their new student enrollment reservation.
[00:01:48.440]After the student completes their reservation
[00:01:50.930]then they would be able to complete the advising inventory,
[00:01:54.153]take the math placement exam
[00:01:56.810]and the modern language placement exam.
[00:01:59.610]And also if they want to attend one
[00:02:01.280]of our Power Up weekends, they would do so there.
[00:02:05.410]Students are also able to access the housing portal
[00:02:08.220]and complete their housing contract
[00:02:10.910]after they pay their enrollment deposit.
[00:02:13.610]It typically takes about 24 to 48 hours
[00:02:17.360]for students to be able to complete this step.
[00:02:20.840]If you scroll down, you're also able to see a couple
[00:02:23.830]of additional resources that students can complete.
[00:02:27.150]Including an application for our University Honors Program,
[00:02:31.180]Nebraska Business Honors Academy, and the Raikes School.
[00:02:34.840]Students can also complete an application
[00:02:36.890]for the Teacher Scholars Academy.
[00:02:39.410]If they selected to submit their scholarship statement
[00:02:42.730]at a later date, they can do so here.
[00:02:45.602]And then also students can complete
[00:02:47.810]the Diversity Enhancement Scholarship application
[00:02:50.350]in order to be considered
[00:02:51.620]for some additional scholarship opportunities.
