- [00:00:23.530]or maybe had taken a couple of classes

- [00:00:29.190]and are seeking their first undergraduate degree.
- [00:00:32.960]A Returning Student, is a student
- [00:00:34.500]that has been enrolled previously at the university
- [00:00:37.160]and would like to now return.

- [00:00:42.220]are able to take college level classes
- [00:00:46.030]and Visiting is not technically a degree
- [00:00:48.860]that a student will ever receive,
- [00:00:50.690]but, that they would just like to enroll
- [00:00:52.670]in less than six credit hours.

- [00:01:03.470]as it determines what cost of tuition, you will be charged.

- [00:02:58.410]if you are a first-generation scholar
- [00:03:00.760]which is defined as neither parents having graduated
- [00:03:03.350]from a four-year institution.
- [00:03:05.250]So, for Herbie, if I listed that their parents
- [00:03:08.640]had received an Associate's Degree
- [00:03:11.170]then, Herbie would be considered a first-generation scholar.
- [00:03:16.860]Then you are able to select what your citizenship status is.
- [00:03:22.010]So, if you are a US citizen select that,
- [00:03:24.980]if you are not a US Citizen
- [00:03:26.700]then you will select Non US Citizen.
- [00:03:30.780]Then you are asked, to indicate what's your native language
- [00:03:33.240]or your language of nurture is.
- [00:03:44.990]And finally, we're gonna start talking about
- [00:03:47.400]some of the more academic components of the application.
