[00:00:13.331]the corner and the presence of COVID-19
[00:00:15.841]in our area, it has never been more
[00:00:17.501]important for you to get your influenza
[00:00:19.128]vaccine in order to keep you and our
[00:00:20.828]Husker community safe. C'mon, let me
[00:00:22.638]show you how to get your free campus flu
[00:00:24.430]shot. The health center is hosting student
[00:00:29.820]flu shot clinics every Wednesday, Thursday
[00:00:32.350]and Friday in October at the Campus Rec.
[00:00:34.670]You must pre-sign up to attend, and time
[00:00:36.670]slots are available on a first come, first
[00:00:38.200]served basis. So sign up at the link below.
[00:00:41.554]When you arrive for your student flu shot
[00:00:43.524]appointment, enter through the main doors
[00:00:45.274]of the Campus Rec and go to Court 6 on the
[00:00:47.504]second level.
[00:00:55.138]Once you arrive at Court 6, be prepared
[00:00:57.308]to give the staff your NCard and completed
[00:00:59.668]flu shot form. If you're 18 years or younger,
[00:01:02.385]the staff may have to call a parent for
[00:01:04.725]permission at the time of your check-in.
[00:01:07.063]Once you're checked in, you'll take a seat
[00:01:09.097]at the nursing table, roll up your sleeve
[00:01:10.813]and receive your flu shot. It's virtually
[00:01:12.509]quick and painless.
[00:01:15.170]If you aren't able to attend a Campus Rec
[00:01:17.350]student flu shot clinic, you have options.
[00:01:19.530]You can attend the East Campus Clinic on
[00:01:21.550]Tuesday, Oct. 13, or you can schedule an
[00:01:23.650]appointment at the health center at
[00:01:25.390]402.472.5000. Remember, just because
[00:01:29.230]you're wearing your face covering and
[00:01:31.140]practicing social distancing does not make
[00:01:32.940]you immune to the flu. Please make sure
[00:01:34.710]you do your part and get vaccinated. If
