- [00:00:02.320]In this video,
- [00:00:03.670]we'll review how to send classes to your shopping cart,
- [00:00:06.390]and how to edit your cart.
- [00:00:08.990]The schedule you see on my screen,
- [00:00:10.690]is a little different than a normal schedule,
- [00:00:13.120]because I have to use classes
- [00:00:14.800]from the December three week session
- [00:00:16.550]for the purposes of this video.
- [00:00:19.210]You can tell I'm not registered for these classes
- [00:00:21.670]because the status is not enrolled,
- [00:00:24.080]and my current schedule option at the top of the page
- [00:00:27.390]says zero.
- [00:00:28.640]The shopping cart option also says zero.
- [00:00:32.520]So you click the, send to shopping cart button,
- [00:00:36.140]and you'll get this screen for all of your classes.
- [00:00:39.330]This is a good time to review course information,
- [00:00:42.080]but you'll have access to that at any time in the process,
- [00:00:46.140]the Permission Number box is a default for all classes,
- [00:00:50.780]you will not need a Permission Number
- [00:00:52.840]for most of your classes.
- [00:00:54.570]I can just click next.
- [00:01:00.330]The grading basis is if you want,
- [00:01:03.150]if you know you want to take a class pass no pass,
- [00:01:06.400]you can select that
- [00:01:08.180]when you send the class to the shopping cart.
- [00:01:12.120]It's important to know that many of your classes
- [00:01:15.070]cannot be taken pass no pass,
- [00:01:17.460]and you should talk to your advisor
- [00:01:19.010]before you make that decision.
- [00:01:25.770]So now the class has happened sends my cart,
- [00:01:28.490]and we know because
- [00:01:29.500]the option of the top of the page says four.
- [00:01:33.960]If I would decide, I want to change one of my classes,
- [00:01:37.190]I don't have to restart the process.
- [00:01:39.950]I can click edit cart,
- [00:01:42.310]and remove from cart.
- [00:01:46.750]And now this class is gone.
- [00:01:49.440]So if I want to add something,
- [00:01:51.330]I can go back to plan schedule,
- [00:01:54.180]and I can add a course,
- [00:02:03.110]or I can check a course that was in my list,
- [00:02:08.300]but not in the schedule I generated previously.
- [00:02:12.090]You'll see down here that now there's a shopping cart box
- [00:02:16.090]that lists the classes already in your cart.
- [00:02:20.690]To add the Ethnic Studies Class,
- [00:02:23.000]I need to generate schedules again,
- [00:02:25.980]because of the limited offerings,
- [00:02:27.890]only one schedule is generated.
- [00:02:31.240]It's possible that you could get many more,
- [00:02:33.660]during a regular semester.
- [00:02:36.990]From here, you can see,
- [00:02:38.350]I still have three classes in my cart.
- [00:02:40.850]There're four listed here though,
- [00:02:42.910]because this is based on my new schedule.
- [00:02:45.930]So when I send a shopping cart,
- [00:02:47.880]I get this screen from my Ethnic Studies class
- [00:02:51.160]and then click finish.
- [00:02:54.460]Now my new schedule is in my cart.
- [00:02:58.240]The ad PR class is gone,
- [00:03:00.340]and the Ethnic Studies Class has been added.
- [00:03:04.010]There's another way
- [00:03:05.380]that you can view classes in your shopping cart,
- [00:03:08.180]if you've added them and come back later.
- [00:03:11.980]From the main, my (mumbles) page, click enrollment,
- [00:03:17.370]and it shows you what classes are in your cart.
- [00:03:21.060]If you know that you want to drop one of those classes,
- [00:03:23.960]you can do that from this screen,
- [00:03:25.920]by clicking on the class
- [00:03:27.930]and removing remove from cart option.
The screen size you are trying to search captions on is too small!
You can always jump over to MediaHub and check it out there.
